Due to the high pace of new releases and parts, sometimes we can get overwhelm with testing and looking for the right combination. This is the best way to cut through the clutter and get the best information on what's working right now.
The panel members will be announced and added to this area.
Panel #1 - KEI (WBO's #1 Blader): He is confirmed! Kei will bring your the best recommendations to crush your next battles. He will be LIVE on our big screen!
Panel #3 - The Supreme One (WBO's #5 Blader): By far, one of the most experienced bladers in WBO. She has been playing since 2012 and followed the game since. She brings real actionable knowledge to the table. Be ready to take notes!
This is a unique Florida Beyblade Premier challenge. This is where bladers combine experience, speed, and team work to bring home the "W".
The Setup: We will have 2 tables full of chips, layers, disks, chassis, and drivers. Each table will have only 1 of each. This mean there will only be one World layer, one Drift driver, etc. on each table. Both tables will have the same parts and quantities.
The Team Selection Process: We will create 2 teams of 5 players each. All ten (10) players will be selected randomly few minutes before the scheduled time of the event (see schedule above). If the player(s) are not present or lost their raffle ticket, a new raffle ticket will be selected.
Each team will be built as players are randomly selected. First player out of the draw will go to Team A, second player will go to Team B, third player to Team A, and so on.
The Combo Strategy: Each player from each team will stand in front of the table and will have a limited amount of time to select all different parts to build a competitive combo. Once the timer is up, whatever combo your build is yours for the reminder of the challenge.
Selection Timeframe for Each Player:
- 1st Player: 10 seconds
- 2nd Player: 15 seconds
- 3rd Player: 20 seconds
- 4th Player: 25 seconds
- 5th Player: 30 seconds
The Battle: Each team will decide their order and arrange each team player from 1st to 5th. Both teams will battle each other in single point matches. The team with the best record out of 9 matches win the challenge.
Is this exciting or what?!
The winning team will bring home a Florida Beyblade Premier's SWAG BAG and one (1) Takara Tomy beyblade (each player).
How to get selected to participate:
- Keep the raffle ticket you will receive at check-in.
- We will randomly select 10 participants from a hat draw using the raffle tickets numbers.
- You will need to come to stage with a maximum of 2 launchers (left & right) or a single launcher (LR). Sharing launchers will not be permitted.
Guidelines and Rules:
- There will be no repetitive beyblade parts on each table. Each player on each team will build unique combos on the spot. Once a player selects a part such a layer or driver, that option will be automatically unavailable for the next players in the team since there will only be one of each. Pick carefully!
- Once the first match begins, the order of the team cannot be changed, altered, or modified.
- Selected players are not allowed to bring any beyblade or beyblade parts to stage. Only launchers are allowed.
- If a player is not able to pick all parts required to build a full combo during the assigned time frame on its turn, he or she will have to wait until the team finish completing their selection process to have another 10 seconds at the table to pick it remaining parts.
- In the event the score get tied 4 to 4, each team will select a member to represent them for a tie-breaker and final match of the challenge.
- Regular WBO Burst Standard rules applies in every match.
Do you think you can build the longest spinning beyblade combo? This is your chance to combine the best stamina combo with a strong launch and compete against your peers.
How to get selected to participate:
- Keep the raffle ticket you will receive at check-in.
- We will randomly select 10 participants from a hat draw using the raffle tickets.
- You will come to stage with your combo and one launcher.
- Everybody will launch at the count of 3...2...1. Let it Rip!
- The longest spinning beyblade wins!
The winner will bring home a Florida Beyblade Premier's SWAG BAG and one (1) Takara Tomy beyblade.
Official Rules:
- All ten (10) participants will be selected randomly few minutes before the schedule time of the event (see schedule above). If the player(s) are not present or lost the raffle ticket, a new raffle ticket will be selected.
- Selected participants will only be allow to bring one (1) full beyblade combo and one (1) launcher on stage.
- Selected participants will not be allowed to change any part of their combo once on stage.
- All selected participants will launch at the same time following the host countdown. Each participant will only have one (1) chance to launch. Mis-launches, launches straight to the pockets, and/or delayed launches will be automatically disqualified.
- In the event of a tie, we will perform a tie-breaker match (best out of 3) to get the winner. Please note that bladers will not be able to change their blades for the tie-breaker match.
Contest Format
Craftsmanship will be judged based on the craft of your costume. Sign up early, because it’s first come, first served. Please note that as we will be recording the contest to post online, you will be required to sign a waiver agreeing to this. Please contact us with any concerns about this. Minors will be required to have a parent/guardian over 18 to sign this waiver for them.
General Guidelines
- All contestants must be registered players of The Beyblade Summer Games and possess an event ID Badge (provided at check-in).
- This is a SC-13/PG-13 event – please keep this in mind when creating your craft.
- Each contestant may only appear on stage in a single entry.
- You will be judged on the accuracy, cleanliness, level of difficulty, and creativity of your costume.
- Judging will occur Saturday, June 19, 2021. (See tournament schedule for times)
- You will either be in the Junior or Senior judging category. The requirements of each are broken down below.
- Only participating contestants are allowed on stage. Parents/Guardians may accompany participants whose age is under 12 years old.
- You must have some kind of foot covering. Shoes or boots are required. This is a matter of safety. If your character does not usually wear shoes, the lack of accuracy will be forgiven; consider flesh-toned or clear shoes. This is non-negotiable.
- You can enter in a costume from any genre. Original Beyblade characters are allowed, but keep in mind your accuracy score may not be as high if we don’t have a character reference to base it on.
- Awards will be given to Best in Show, Junior 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Senior 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
- Surprise the audience, but never surprise the staff/crew — Absolutely NO jumping on or off stage. No acrobatics/flips/cartwheels will be allowed. Any ‘surprise elements’ must be run by the cosplay coordinator for approval. Violating this may result in disqualification from the competition, and participation in future Florida Beyblade Premier cosplay contests. When in doubt, ask.
- You will be required to walk across the stage in your costume during the contest in order to qualify for awards. Please contact us if you are uncomfortable with this and we can work something out together.
Costumes will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Execution – How well the costume is constructed.
- Accuracy/Faithfulness – How close the costume was made to the source material.
- Complexity – How wide the range of skills used in the project, and the difficulty level of those techniques.
- Creativity – Design choices, thoughtful use of materials, ingenuity, and personalized embellishments.

This is for our contestants 15 years old and younger. Parents/adults can assist with the creation of Juniors’ costumes, but we want our junior contestants to have participated in the construction of their costume. Extra credit will be given to our juniors who made significant portions of their costumes. If a parent or member helped the junior create their costume, he or she will be asked to come to their judging and help talk about how the costume was made. Because all our contestants are required to sign a waiver and minors must have a guardian over 18 sign this waiver for them, juniors will not be allowed to participate at the event unless they have a parent/guardian present.
