Australian Beyblade Speciality Stores - Giraton - Nov. 24, 2018

Hey, figured I'd make a post to point out various stores around the country to buy Beyblades that aren't the regular department stores. I keep an eye out for stores like this for tournaments, but figured this would also help those looking for places to pick stuff up, and also help me find such stores as people can suggest locations that sell beyblades. If you do want to suggest a store, just know that places like target, K mart, toy world, ECT are not what I'm looking for, but rather more specialised or locally owned stores like game stores or collector's shops that sell beyblades.

Victoria:
Neko Cards - card game store that gets in both Takara Tomy and Hasbro releases. While they focused on TT in the past, they just got in Slingshot tops before anywhere else in Victoria. Store is located in Melbourne's CBD.
Good Game's/Mind Games CBD Mini stores - both locations only sell Hasbro, but tend to have good quality stock instead of an abundance of lower tier beys. Is sold at a premium though.

New South Wales:
Anime At Abbotsford - anime store that sticks both TT and Hasbro. Popular due to their unofficial events, their beys sell very quickly, especially the TT ones, so keep an eye on their social media for updates. Abbotsford store only, Sydney CBD store does not stock Beyblades.

Currently unaware of stores in other states. If you know a store, please comment below.

This is just in one state? Jeez. In Iowa, (A USA state), there's about 1-2 anime stores. Would love to be where you are.

Oh Melbourne is huge on pop culture and Sydney isn't far behind. The two captial cities have the largest anime fan bases in the country and nearly every state has atleast 3 anime conventions a year so that's saying a lot. They Beyblade side of things is a small side effect of that, and I haven't even listed all the anime or card game stores in both states, just the ones that stock beyblades.

Hi Australian members. I found an Australian TT specialist: https://www.toffeeexpress.com.au/beyblade-burst.html

Before I order, is anyone able to confirm they've ordered from them and they are legit? Thanks!

I searched that but the results said that mrtoys.com isn't responding

No wait it's open, but all its Beys are Hashbro, so no TT bey that I'm looking for...

Also is toffeExpress reliable?

I bought a bey and launcher at Anime at Abbortsford, it was great, the store keeper was great too, offering ideas on which bey is best.

Hi

New this and have a question that I’m hoping someone could help, I have a 9 year old son who has gone Bey mad. Sadly he can only use his left hand to launch, he has a slight disability that means his right hand can only be used as supporting. We are looking for a decent launcher for left hand players, he is after something that gives him enough power to pop his turbo blades on his bey

Hey Fox, generally any of the new launchers (Db launchers, or any custom launcher such as the sword one) should have more than enough power to unlock the burst stoppers (Turbo blades) on the beys, and if you want a grip can be attached, though generally unnecescary.

I'm in wa, and i go to a store called mega culture in booragoon for tt beys. I was wondering what normal prices would be? They sell starters and boosters for ~$30-40 and i was wondering if it is a ripoff or not? Any help is appreciated.
