Haha, no worries. It's appropriate to source the image.

So this is all the actual news we have so far from a collective group of people here(correct me if I'm wrong):
1. Hasbro has started shipping the products off to stores were the stores will put them on shelves when they decide to.
2. Texas and a few other toysrus' have cleared out shelves for a while implying that they are expecting something which could be burst
3. There is an app coming with the product
4. Prices are apparently about $11 for a single bey and $16 for a 2 pack. Triangle stadium will be available when they come out
5. This is a soft launch and therefore only in North America
6. No ads or pictures of the actual products yet
7. This thread is about to close. Do not rant about how long it is taking for it to come
8. PLEASE tell us if you do have real news[/align]
Hope I helpedSmile

Called my two local Targets and they both used the online retail website any of us use and didn't seem to see anything online. I asked about perhaps a separate kind of stocking system that would show stuff in the back for them, but I think the associate didn't know of such a thing or maybe Target just doesn't have that.

I'll try my local Walmart and Toys R Us and give an update when I do.

The issue is that most sales associates who get the call are only (typically) trained for stuff on the floor. They aren't going to be too focused on what's next or big plans like the morning crew. If you do call, I recommend right during opening hours, or even better going in and talking to anyone from the stocking/overnight phase so that they may check new shipments and store shelving planners in the future.

They are likely not going to be able to tell you anything until the products are actually in-store, either way.

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - UGottaCetus - Aug. 10, 2016

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't actually see these until September or even October. The fact that we are 10 days into the month and have yet to even see a product(Especially considering SDCC just ended and Hasbro showed no actual Beys, which would be very unusual for them to do for an upcoming line) just screams to me that we have some more waiting to do.

Possible. However Hasbro tends to not show unreleased products to the public.

I'm comparing it to their Marvel Legends, Transformer, and Black Series lines. They showed off releases and early images of figures that may not even be released this YEAR, but no Beys which are supposed to out this month? Its just very strange.

These are hardcore collectors' lines. Beyblade is a mass market product for young kids. I don't expect to see a big marketing push till near the holidays.

I hope you're right that it doesn't necessarily mean that the series will be delayed

Well, it can't really be delayed if a release date was never announced Tongue_out

Keyword: said

But on a serious note; it could be released next week, we have only heard that it should be August. Some stores have already had Burst shipped to them from what Mana said, so hopefully soon.

It's still August, just because something might say August doesn't necessarily mean the first day of the month.

That's not a good price, buddy...

11 bucks is a pretty decent price for a Bey + a launcher

The Metal Fusion ones were for like 349 INR...

I remember seeing the app was scheduled to be released in August, but that text was removed. I don't remember anything about the toys being officially announced as arriving in August. Nonetheless, they're coming soon. Everyone should try to be patient.

yeah lol it's little high compared to when Metal Fusion was in India [ah those days were best Wink] but still for Burst beys it's pretty decent [well seems better then spending on Legends lol.]

The app is now released! I decided to check before I go to bed and sure enough, it's there. Lots to see... Check it out!

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - ~Mana~ - Aug. 11, 2016

A few name changes;

Valkyrie is now Valtryek.
Spriggan is now Spryzen.
Kerbeus remains unchanged.
Ragnaruk is now Roktavor.
Deathscyther is now Doomscizor.
Horusood remains unchanged.
Odin is now Odax.
Neptune is now Nepstrius.
Unicorn is now Unicrest.
Wyvern is now Wyvron.

Victory Valkyrie is now Valtryek V2.
Storm Spriggan is now Spryzen S2.
Kaiser Kerbeus is now Kerbeus K2.
Rising Ragnaruk is now Roktavor R2.

Single layers are in the game. They are the default parts.
Layers are now Energy Layers.
Discs are now Forge Discs.
Drivers are now Performance Tips.

Scanning a QR code included with a product unlocks those parts ingame. You can buy parts ingame using ingame currency as well, but it's very expensive and requires lots of grinding.

OMG the names are ugly (in my opinion), when i read them for the first time my first reaction was it's not names from the beyblade world, they seems to comes from another anime, i think i will continue to watch the japanese epusodes, i'm so sad Crying

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - ~Mana~ - Aug. 11, 2016

These names are definitely ugly. I even told Hasbro in my first conversation with them that "the fans don't like strange changes from the source material", but whoops, obviously I was too late, haha.

Currently datamining the app for any other details, but I think that's the main bulk of it.

Hmm is the app not out on the Canadian play store. I can't seem to find it by searching "beyblade burst".
