If that made any sense.
It's actually an inherent problem within the current forum software; there isn't a way around it as far as I know, without the myBB software being massively rewritten.
Apparently it's too wasteful of resources to have the forum continually check all the new posts in each forum and subforum, or something like that.

It's there to stop someone from crashing the server with too many search requests, but it should be safe to lower it to like ten seconds

Unfortunately, this board isn't really meant for these sorts of things, haha. We are focused on discussing the hobby, as opposed to other aspects of Beyblade.

Wonder if this is a good idea limiting the greeting on Introduce Yourself Forum because I've been noticing some members who just constantly spam the same exact message over and over again to every new member who joins. There are some in particular though that have a high post count with the same message they mind as well be automated greeting machines for the WBO.

Anyway, we will see, when awarding the Antique Face, if most of the member's posts were like that, or actual quality messages.

I would like to be able to put up your own backgrounds on the site but for only you to see or when people visit your profile, they would be able to view it just like you would. (Ex.) The Grey background right now on the forums and stuff, we would be able to change it. So yea that's just my suggestions...=|

I think some sort of thread approval system would be good, might help cut down the number of threads needing to be closed......
Of course someone would have to monitor it, do the approval messages and alot of other things that would be time consuming. This person would also need to log on almost daily to keep stuff going.... But this probably wouldn't work well.
