RE: eBay Topic - 3-Dog - Feb. 11, 2012

Someone won Zeus for £18 and green Phantom fox for £7.36? Unbelievable... Why did I forget to bid on them!

Well, I guess sometimes other people are just faster to find those lots than other people but don't worry, JR_Tiger still got a Phantom Fox green.

RE: eBay Topic - 3-Dog - Feb. 11, 2012

Yes but JR_Tiger isn't going to sell it for that cheap Tongue_out I'm not even that interested in Zeus or Phantom Fox but I can not resist a bargain!

RE: eBay Topic - th!nk - Feb. 11, 2012

I may have won the phantom fox had I actually had any money above spare change, haha.

18 pounds isn't *too* bad for a hasbro zeus, I guess, but the bit sticker would raise things.

so would the takara zeus be more expensive though
i feel doubtful on this

RE: eBay Topic - th!nk - Feb. 11, 2012

Yeah, the takara one has bearings and a low friction CEW. It's waaay more expensive.

RE: eBay Topic - Ga' - Feb. 12, 2012

Dreamborn's HMS lot went for 256 Euros...Damn.

Well, congrats to whoever won the lot! The info said that the buyer only had a rating of 2, so hopefully Dreamborn will get his money.

RE: eBay Topic - 3-Dog - Feb. 12, 2012

Don't worry Ga, he'll get the money. Wink

RE: eBay Topic - Ga' - Feb. 12, 2012

I WANTED THAT SLASH RIGER AND NIB ADVANCE STRIKER, AT LEAST!

Good job with the bidding though, your wallet must be crying right now ahaha.

RE: eBay Topic - 3-Dog - Feb. 12, 2012

I think in the long-term bud, I know I'll be able to make a great deal of my money back by selling the beys that I get good deals for! I'll have to update my shop soon Smile

RE: eBay Topic - Ga' - Feb. 12, 2012

Come on, you know you want to give them to me as a late birthday present! Wink

I may be able to buy from you if you update with some of that lot, so hopefully expect a PM soon.

If I thought I had any chance of winning any of those, I'd be excited, but yeah, no matter how much I wish I could, I am sure I have no chance.

However, I'd be very happy if I were you, there are a number of extremely rare beyblades there......

That said, I appreciate the back of box pictures, I think a couple of them we weren't sure of the weight disks of, so you've already done us a favour Smile

RE: eBay Topic - Snowball21 - Feb. 13, 2012

I honestly almost gave them away to my friend's son, but i decided to look into them before I did and needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. I use to collect them hardcore from 2003-05, and I still have so many loose ones with instruction booklets that i dont know what to do with. I am hoping I have more in my parents' storage when I go up to Michigan this week, so maybe I will have more up next weekend.

RE: eBay Topic - th!nk - Feb. 13, 2012

Make a thread in the beyblade marketplace forum and sell them here (you will need to post images of them with a picture of your name), or even list them on ebay.

If you don't know the value of things, you could try the purchase consultation thread, with images, and hope that one of the members who has a good knowledge of plastic prices sees it, but yeah. If you don't know what each of them is, you could probably either post them there (though you would need to ask the prices too so it would be on topic) or "Ask A Question, Get an Answer", or even PM some clear pictures to me, and I'll happily help identify them (though I should probably get some sleep soon), and point out anything particularly valuable (though I'm no good with exact prices).

People don't just buy them new in box, in fact, most of my collection were already opened, as it is generally slightly cheaper and I tend to use my plastic beyblades, haha.

RE: eBay Topic - 3-Dog - Feb. 13, 2012

I am literally foaming at the mouth from seeing all those boxed beyblades. I've always wanted Appollon, Poseidon and Venus but I never really thought about getting the Hasbro versions. I was interested in Zeus until I heard th!nk (I th!nk) mention that the Hasbro version took away the most precious part, the engine gear and it's proper tip or something?

Still, I'll be keeping an eye on those! I better start selling my HMS lot off fast so that I can afford some of the beys in there and the blue slash riger posted before..

RE: eBay Topic - th!nk - Feb. 13, 2012

Yeah, the hasbro version had the bearing SG and the Tip. They're much more valuable, though honestly, they're not really hugely useful, so a Hasbro one isn't that bad a buy, but it'll never look right compared to the anime.

RE: eBay Topic - Hazel - Feb. 13, 2012

I might try taking a shot at that Ocean Wrath(Poseidon)... all I really care about is the AR, anyway, so TT/Hasbro is irrelevant...

RE: eBay Topic - th!nk - Feb. 13, 2012

That's all anyone cares about of those though... I would love any one of those three there... Particularly Appolon, but I'd be so torn between using it and staring at it...

I'd also love ocean wrath because no one would ever dare use one other than me and there's so little information on its performance...

RE: eBay Topic - roux - Feb. 13, 2012
