Deikailo has tests the nearly identical combination and made a video about her opinion to not ban Basalt where Bakushin was her main argument point. She gets better vs Basalt with Blitz 85RF compared to bakushin. Which also goes for the 2 other members in the video. :V

If you're talking about an Earth stamina combo then yes obviously it would win against something like Basalt 85RS. Personally I think your guess is wrong.

Okay where are the tests then since i'd like to see them. Have they been posted?

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

I honestly find Earth still reliable for competitive use TBH with the right combo(I am talking about stamina)
but since lots of people dissagree I can't say much...

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Ultra - Oct. 26, 2011

If you think so then provide testing. This goes to everyone who thinks earth is still competitive.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Primal - Oct. 26, 2011

Um, I did some defense testing with Bakushin and it got a pretty good win rate against Beat. Though I do think it still needs some more testing. :\

About the Earth discussion, I personally don't think it's as useful as it was, seeing as Variares, Blitz, Beat, etc. can OHKO it.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

well I never said it was useful for defense I mean stamina....
I'm just saying the low recoil helps when using a combo with proper weight distribution.
I will perform tests when I get time.

its light weight make it pretty easy to K.O.
but i think it is still a good anti-meta...equiped with RF..

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Kujikato - Oct. 26, 2011

Earth Aquario AD145 SD = MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145 (calm) CS killer.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

alright I did testing it was informal
including: MF VariAres CH120RF VS MF-H Earth Aquario BD145RS, MF Blitz Unicorno S130R2F VS MF-H Earth Aquario BD145RS...
I am amazed at how well it handled blitz and variares! If you guys don't mind take out some spare time to trying this out. don't just say Earth has no chance. that was what I thought. TBH Earth did fantastic, formal testing should be up soon =3

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Kujikato - Oct. 26, 2011

^ told ya, Earth + RF, Vari, Blitz, maybe Beat, and Lightning DONT STAND A CHANCE (either than the lucky KO here and there)
Earth should stay in Tier 1. Final

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - gibsonmac - Oct. 26, 2011

Maybe based on popularity or prevalence in tournaments, but not based on performance... earth does have nearly auto-win matches (Earth 85WD vs BD145, thanks Dan!!) but it's not a wheel that can win no matter the combo or opponent, eg. Basalt, VariAres etc

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

so you're saying Basalt M145Q will win a tourney ? who are you replying to? Please try to be more clear and quote posts...

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Kujikato - Oct. 26, 2011

or use this; ^

I agree with H8R, be more clear

on topic: Earth is my MAIN stamina combo EVEN THOUGH i have Phantom coming really soon, due to the fact of GREAT weight distribution as well as smoothness.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - gibsonmac - Oct. 26, 2011

obviously you can't take a broad statement and try to view it in a dramatically narrow scape, but Basalt would have a better chance to win on M145Q than most wheels

Also if you read the previous several posts, I am responding to the 'earth needs to stay tier 1' by Izuma

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Kujikato - Oct. 26, 2011

I still stand by my post, Earth is Tier 1 COMPETITIVE material.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

yep(can someone else test it for God's sake!)

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Ultra - Oct. 26, 2011

Okay i'd like to point out that no one ever uses defence combos in tourneys and using Earth BD145RS is very unpractical and you'll only win if the other person uses attack which is pretty rare. And Basalt BD145CS does well without using the best defence bottom and is a much more balanced safe option which beats a lot more combos.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

but the tiers list isn't all about tourney's (why do people use stamina combos)(why do people use attack combos)
the tiers list itself is to show how good each part is for its type and Earth is truly capable of holding it's own (when you say what you just said above why do you have a defense section anyways?)

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Ultra - Oct. 26, 2011

I did some informal battling and it did very well. I'd still like proper tests to confirm mine though.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - H8R - Oct. 26, 2011

I appreciate you trying it out Ultrablader. I will have tests up for sure. How about a new thread on this topic (Earth VS Basalt???) IDK if its needed but after all the relying on basalt for defense we finally have Earth back! this should keep Earth on the top tier list! I will test against LLD ,LDD, MLD, Blitz, VariAres,Fang? etc any requests? Please ask now.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Glowfire1 - Oct. 26, 2011

lol , hell is in top tier 1 in attack, it´s better than fang, phantom is top tier1 in defense

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Ultra - Oct. 26, 2011

Hell sucks for attack. Please do some testing and prove me wrong. Phantom need more testing before it should be considered for going in tier 1 defence.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Kujikato - Oct. 26, 2011

MF Hell Cancer 90 RF koed MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230 CS with moerate trouble @ a 80% win rate, will post detaies later, sleepy

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Glowfire1 - Oct. 26, 2011

yo that´s waht I mean

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 25/10/11 - Ultra - Oct. 26, 2011

Great but Basalt 230CS isn't the best defence combo. Any decent attack wheel at 145 height can defeat 230 defence combos with not much trouble. I bet that combo does very little against Basalt BD145MB/CS.
