the 4th one doesn't uses c4d's it's just effects done with render i guess

RE: General GFX Thread - Kujikato - Nov. 01, 2011

nope, yes, it doesnt use C4Ds, but it doesnt use that much Render effects, it is ll in the BG ya know like the 2nd one, that is pure C4D Background

I really hope you're being sarcastic.

RE: General GFX Thread - Synth - Nov. 01, 2011

no, not really. you can just use the original lighting of the render

If there is light, there has to be a light source.
Using the original lighting from a render and not making a light source
to connect that render to the sig makes it look completely unrealistic.

RE: General GFX Thread - Synth - Nov. 01, 2011

your correct. however, in some cases, Its pretty much distracting.
AND sometimes, the light is already Focusing on the render, its just "out of the screen"

RE: General GFX Thread - Wolverine Mode - Nov. 01, 2011

Gripsocks : DeX probably means that this kind of tag can't have a light source :

or pretty much a Vector sig.

But basically, its the maker's decision. afterall, it's his work

You covered your focal, and you have 2 focals. I think that's a crime in some states.
Guys, advancing your skills and pushing out higher quality work is more important
than having a sig done every day.

RE: General GFX Thread - Xyo - Nov. 02, 2011

CnC's on the two sigs i made on this page?

They both have something off about them... I think it's the C4D's.
They are sort of random and just there, especially in the halo one.
They both have pretty good compo+lighting+depth, but it's missing something.
It needs a little more focus and action on the focal instead of 1 C4D maybe?
Not sure, still nice work.

RE: General GFX Thread - Xyo - Nov. 02, 2011

How's this?

RE: General GFX Thread - Xyo - Nov. 04, 2011

DeX YOu have a great style but there is no Lighting with the bey and the text
@whattzer you need to stop with the motion blur and smudge i do not lik how you pu the text over low opacity rectangles and for the K-On one there are to many renders and no lighting don't use brushes (downloaded brushes) because it makes it bad(for your works anyway)no depth and lighting and text is bad and i'd ditch the border ill send you a PSD i havemight be helpful to you

RE: General GFX Thread - Synth - Nov. 04, 2011

the Line effect really isn't bugging me. The text is distracting, too

Over contrasted, no flow, depth, or blending. You should really learn the fundamentals.
Several things like, focus on your focal(obviously), your sig blurs and burns your focal
randomly. You do have a nice color scheme, but I wouldn't go from spectrum to spectrum, especially because of the black burn on your focal.

RE: General GFX Thread - Synth - Nov. 04, 2011

Hmm, thanks.

I haven't seen you make a sig. why dont you show what you got? try to post some here

Havent I told everyone? sometimes, you don't need lighting. You dont need it if its already TOO BRIGHT
