I do not own CH120 but on a regular 145 or D125 it gets about 25%.

Lightning LDrago CH120 is actually much more versatile than Lightning LDrago BD145.
BD145 just makes it easier to KO Basalt 230CS and not get knocked around by other attackers. CH120 can KO Basalt 230CS just as easily (for me) but will not do too well against other attackers since it isn't as heavy.

God, I wish for a Metal CH120 to be released.. It would be absolutely broken..

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 07, 2011

From my battles LLD CH120R2F can't do much to Basalt ____ BD145CS/MB though which is like the ultimate combo.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Dan - Oct. 07, 2011

Neither can Lightning LDrago BD145, plus it doesn't do amazingly well against low track defense either..
The only wheels that manage to take that down are VariAres and Blitz.

Beat also does a fancy job IMO. What about spin stealers?
Plenty of things can, but I guarantee that MF LLD CH120RF can KO MF-H Basalt Kebercs BD145CS atleast once or twice maybe not consistently but its not that hard.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Dan - Oct. 07, 2011

I'd like a video of that, I've only been able to do it twice. ever.
Beat does well, yeah. We're not outlining what can beat Basalt BD145CS/MB, don't detract. (yes spin-stealers can but we're talking about Lightning LDrago right now, remember that..)

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

Well to be completely honest I have barely used LLDBD145RF so I am not really sure about its capabilities. Be honest with me here would you use MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF at a tournament?

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 08, 2011

No way. I mean even if it's mainly stamina types like phantom and scythe a basalt bd145cs/mb will probably be used by someone at which point if you encounter them with that you've basically already lost. Other newer attack wheels are a much safer bet.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

Exactly so you wouldn't use it in a tournament , it does mediocre in testing so why is it top tier? Plus there is also the fact that you can weak launch against it.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 08, 2011

Yeah I've been thinking that Lightning no longer deserves a place in tier 1 since nO lightning combos are really very good anymore.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

MF Lightning L Drago BD145RF is still getting places that's why I initially wanted it as only with BD145.

This would be one of those cases where you can specify that it only works well in one or two combos.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Dan - Oct. 08, 2011

If you have Hell, Fang and all that other garbage in tier 1 there is no way in hell Lightning should be taken off. Speechless

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

Agreed there. Fang , Hell and Meteo should go down after experimenting with Fang it is completely outclassed by other attack wheels it gets about 30-50% against Basalt BD145CS. I think lightning should have only BD145 next to it.

This is another valid point, although not precisely how I would've put it... Blitz needs to be put up there(with its combo specifics listed; MF Blitz CH120RF/R2F and Blitz 85R2F), Hell needs to be taken down to Tier 2, and I'm not really sure about Fang.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Dan - Oct. 08, 2011

While I of all people should not be saying this.. CH120 on Lightning LDrago is probably in most instances better than BD145. If BD145 stays up, CH120 by all means should too: It is way more versatile, 120 is an absolutely terrific height. It has no problems with 230 variants (if you insist, you could use 145 height but 120 does the job damn well without the change) and 170,195,220 are much less awkward for Lightning LDrago 120 while for BD145/145's in general it is complete hell. I don't know why that is, but it is. Not to mention low track stamina/defense are difficult to KO with BD145 while CH120 would deal with it easily.

The argument about how BD145 does better against attackers is correct, but in some places (Though I've only been to a single full tournament, it is unbearably obvious) including Toronto attackers are barely used making that advantage of BD145 non-existant. Far more low track stamina here than attack which makes something like MF Lightning LDrago BD145LRF extremely hard to use well. Again, CH120 can just wipe the floor with it.

I could give you more but those are the most solid points I can think of to keep CH120 on Lightning if BD145 is.

Hazel
I'd say Fang for tier 2. Hell? If it remains in tier 1 it will be the least versatile of that class. If it's bumped down to tier 2 then it will probably be the best out of all of them, next comes Fang.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

Fang is way better then hell , but I do not think it is worthy for tier 1 it is like earths situation in defense.

Well Dan if you have time could you do some CH120 and BD145 comparisons? I am fine with CH120 staying as well since I don't own it and just assumed it wouldn't be as good.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Electric - Oct. 08, 2011

I really think Blitz should be added to Tier 1 in Attack. It is amazing, it can consistently defeat Basalt. I lost a tournament finals to that Beyblade, and a few more matches to Blitz.

You can check out Deikailo's video on Blitz, as proof of how good it is:

EDIT: I did see you're post about future additions somewhere on Pg. 99, but of course you should add it without further ado, as it totally deserves to be on there now.

Agreed, though it has already been considered that Blitz is going to be Top Tier soon.

Attack

Hell and MLD to tier 2
Blitz added to tier 1
GB145 added to tracks

Defence

Hell and Earth go to tier 2
Scythe added to tier 1

Stamina

I really don't know since no one has ever tested or compared DS, W2D and EWD properly.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 08, 2011

I was going to update it a while ago but never got round to it. It will be done with the formatting of the list that i'm doing this weekend.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Vamasco_ - Oct. 08, 2011

UltraBlader
Do you want me to test DS and EWD against WD and SD ?

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 08, 2011

That would be great if you could.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - RustyXD - Oct. 08, 2011

DS shouldn't be added as EDS is better then it by almost every way possible.

EWD should be added I think although I only remember it doing good with Basalt.

But yeah tests would be great , although I don't think DS tests are needed.

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Ultra - Oct. 08, 2011

erm Scythe ____ BD145EDS? Also the fact that some things are better than others is clearly not a reason to exclude them considering this is a tier list...

RE: MFB Tiers list Last Updated 17/08/11 - Primal - Oct. 08, 2011

Just noticed Bakushin was still under the list of parts that need testing. If it still does, I could provide some tests. But, would I be testing it as an attack, defense, or stamina type? Also, against what type of opponent?
