RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - ChozenBlader - Jan. 29, 2009 In answer to the question some of you asked, yes, I will try to get this tournament done inside. As someone stated, England is FREEZING. Holding it outside would actually be very close to torture ![]() RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - Rocky - Jan. 29, 2009 (Jan. 29, 2009 7:07 PM)KidTala Wrote: Oh No!! That's £32 - £80 of funding with the listed turnout. That sounds sufficient. Depends what we want the prize to be, & if we want 2nd & 3rd Prize. But I think £5 would be a fair amount. See what Chozen thinks. RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - ChozenBlader - Jan. 31, 2009 Maybe a £4 entry fee? £5 seems a bit too much. We'll see It will DEFINITELY be no more than £5 though, just so ya'll know RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - Bey Brad - Jan. 31, 2009 I don't think the convention will allow you to charge an entry fee when people are already paying a fee to get into the convention. RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - KidTala - Jan. 31, 2009 So if you win you have to pay for the prize? Hmm... Hadn't thought of that XD RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - BeyUK-Espio - Jan. 31, 2009 The convention won't let any financial transactions take place. You could transfer your fund via paypal or post a cheque to Chozen? Brad has information regarding the venue that I arranged but you would need to talk to them to arrange and confirm things. RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - Bey Brad - Jan. 31, 2009 Paul still hasn't replied to me. ![]() RE: Beyblade Spinoff: UK Revolution - Munkerz - Jan. 31, 2009 (Jan. 31, 2009 6:56 PM)KidTala Wrote: So if you win you have to pay for the prize? The plan was to pay to enter the tournament. That money would replace the money people spent on the prizes. That way everyone's only spent a little, rather than one guy left £40(-ish) out of pocket. I think I'll email MCM [email protected] Ask what we are allowed to do in regards to the event. EDIT: Scratch that, posts have been made since I started typing this. That's what happens when you don't send your post and go to make a coffee.
