At least it's nice to know they still kept "Let it rip!" (Or at least the hashtag does)

I'm 90% sure valt has the same english VA as naruto, so that would explain it. Though it could have been a lot worse, it's a voice that isn't actively trying to kill your ears.

Well it's not the worst voice I've heard from Beyblade but it's definitely nothing I'd roll with but whatever.

Man, I forgot how awful Beyblade dubs are. Nevertheless, I'll probably end up watching that instead of the sub once it starts airing for the nostalgia Smile Hard to believe that it was the Metal Masters dub that got me interested in Beyblade just over 4 years ago!

Is it allergy season for Valt or what.

Honestly, the voice acting for this isn't great... I'm afraid to hear the others, ahh..

I laughed so hard. I'm sorry but really? He sounds like he's holding his nose while talking. XD Eh, I'm kinda interested tbh. Can't wait to watch it. Cute

Actually, it sounds better with headphones haha. Much better than Gingka's voice dub. XD

I didn't notice his block nose voice till now, I only heard his voice as some kid trying to sound all "hip" and "cool" and "Soooooooo 90's DUUUUUUUUHUUUUUUUUDE!". His voice acting as expected by these VAs suck, it sucked for Cross Fight B-Daman, and it doesn't seem good here so far but hopefully it'll change.

Idk about the voice, but that took me off guard. I like the thing in the end when the chorus sang Beyblade Burst, that was really cool.

i just noticed the voice actor sounds like steven universe

11/10 VA will watch whole dub religiously

am hype

Joking aside, it's great news to see they updated their site. Back to waiting.

I saw the Hasbro S2 in gold blades in that video of two teens playing with Hasbro Burst, and it looks great IRL.

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - BeyGa - Sep. 09, 2016

I honestly liked Valt's voice. It isn't that bad.
I wonder if someone is going to upload the episodes in Eng. That'd be cool! Smile

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - B@dgerV@nguard - Sep. 09, 2016

Valt's Voice is literally the same as Gao Mikado from Buddyfight I believe so No wonder why he sounded so fimiliar to me...

RE: Beyblade Burst Hasbro topic - Coming to North America August 2016! - JadenXD01 - Sep. 10, 2016

In all honesty I don't find Valt's ENG voice bad in all honesty I have more issues with his JP voice. I just don't like how some male protagonists sound in terms of the JP voice actors mostly since sometimes I feel like they make the males sound more like females sometimes. I think Valt's voice is average at best but in all honesty I don't have many problems since I mostly stick with dubs of most animes with very few exceptions. Much like the original Plastic Gen Beyblade series with Tyson and them since I stuck with the dub then and still do now.

As for the 2017 US release date for Beyblade Burst in the US...Well at least that gives me enough time to be busy with Pokemon Sun and Moon while waiting for said products for Beyblade Burst from Hasbro. Although I'll probably only get 2 Beyblades just for the sake of having new Beyblades to keep being Hasbro's versions of Storm Spriggan (Still refuse to call them by their English names often.) and Rising Ragnarok. Still good to finally hear Valt's English voice for Burst's Anime Dub and a release date window for Hasbro's Line of Beyblade Burst for the US.

Sprtizen is alright, It's Ragnarok and Neptune's Names that are so bad. That being said, Valtryek will always be Valkyrie to me.

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Sep. 10, 2016

Updated the thread title, at least. RIP "North America 2016"

(Yes yes I know Canada is part of North America, since I live here)

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Beylon - Sep. 10, 2016

Is it not unjustifiably weird that they'd release in Canada first, and not the States? No offence, Canada, but surely this is only because Hasbro knows the WBO, based in Canada, is their first and best source of free advertising. I mean... They did basically no advertising of their own. It's just weird.

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Sep. 10, 2016

Lol, you don't seriously think that's the reason? Beyblade has historically done well here. Maybe they're using Canada as a test market.

no, i highly doubt that, maybe they're waiting to build up a bigger Bey Line up. We have to agree here, Right now the Bey Line up is pitiful for an initial release. Personally, i Hope they do Blind Bags like they Did In japan for different color beys and such.

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Sep. 10, 2016

What are you talking about? In Japan Burst launched with 4 starters and 4 boosters that were just remixes of those starters. We got 4 starters and 4 2-packs of basic bey. It's a pretty huge launch lineup IMO.

well 5 really but i get your point. still would be cool to get those blind bags too am i right?

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Sep. 10, 2016

I dunno, Hasbro usually releases RB prizes as standalone releases which seems better to me. Only downside is lack of color variety, but Takara-Tomy isn't going anywhere ...

Personally, i love the blind bag idea, putting different variations of energy layers, Forge disks, and Performance Tips would give a serious incentive to those of us who wants style to go with their beys, Like MEEE! Plus, blind bags/boxes are pretty popular too so i don't see why not do this too.
