RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - sarabscientist - Jun. 16, 2012 Reinforced mold of Blitz? Looks promising!Breakage won't be an issue Flash; you better watch yo back. Hmm,so do the new releases PUMP YOU UP! or PUMP YOU DOWN...): RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jun. 16, 2012 (Jun. 16, 2012 5:27 PM)Apply Without Wrote: I have also noticed the color of Jupiter being like a Sapphire instead of Purple. Bizarre. They have changed the colors of some of the CWs for some reason. Leone II looks to be of a more lighter shade of green than the original one (which makes it look suck-ish) And now this. I wonder why do they change the colors of beautiful looking Clear Wheels. They have pledged to release beys that cause an outrage... jk! Primal- Now that is quite sad... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 16, 2012 (Jun. 16, 2012 5:35 PM)Janstarblast Wrote:(Jun. 16, 2012 5:27 PM)Apply Without Wrote: I have also noticed the color of Jupiter being like a Sapphire instead of Purple. Bizarre. Tempo/Horogium was released in a sharper powder blue color than the barely-darker Basalt Horogium from TT. I did notice Leone II being sharper, but that's like incredibly brighter than acceptable. I didn't much like the Purple Jupiter wheel. It was god awful ugly carp. I hope, if they mess with Flash Sagittario, that it's a darker Orange. That'd be sweet. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jun. 16, 2012 Even the darker Tempo Clear Wheel seemed to be a "sweet" change to me. It made it look MUCH better than before, IMO. I actually just hate light-colored things, to be honest. And probably that is why, Tempo would be better than Horogium, only in my opinion... But still, its quite weird that they change the colors of Clear Wheels. What's with colors? They can do without replacing them... They are actually turning beautiful-looking CWs into ugly ones. I hope they, even if my mistake, do the opposite at least once! RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 16, 2012 (Jun. 16, 2012 5:42 PM)Janstarblast Wrote: Even the darker Tempo Clear Wheel seemed to be a "sweet" change to me. I think Hasbro is well aware that there are American bladers who know the cosmetic and overall physical differences (molds) with the American releases compared to original Japanese and Hong Kong releases. Hasbro just wants to alleviate collection value conflicts. That's at least understandable for Hasbro's other concerns. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Thunder Dome - Jun. 16, 2012 You see what they did to blitz. It could be the end of the world when that thing comes out, if its good RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 16, 2012 (Jun. 16, 2012 5:49 PM)Thunder Dome Wrote: You see what they did to blitz. Seems like the changes to Jade was a pretty quick job, which, doesn't look promising for a thicker metal percentage. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Anchor - Jun. 16, 2012 I've always liked Blitz, hope its better than the TT one! I even hope it surpasses Flash,I wouldn't be surprised,it looks heavy as hell. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 16, 2012 Now I want to see a picture of Beat Lynx.... I hope a clearer one surfaces at least. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 16, 2012 I cannot believe that you all would seriously believe that Hasbro's Blitz will be that much heavier and not hollowed out. It looks heavy, but it cannot be, so do not be so impressed or anything ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Tri - Jun. 16, 2012 I hope to god that Blitz is not hollowed out. Imagine one of the greatest attack metal wheels ever becoming a metal wheel like torch .... As for Jade .... WTF? the design is just .... I want Rubber Ball.... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Nuzumaki90 - Jun. 16, 2012 The holes on Jade are closed so I'm guessing the Gravity Ball gimmick is gone as well? I don't know why, but Jade's Hasbro mold looks like a brand new metal wheel... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 16, 2012 You could say the same thing for any other of them, but Jade looks like the quickest and least cleanly simplified, with little effort put into reinforcing. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - UGottaCetus - Jun. 17, 2012 Well, it seems Hasbro saved the worst for last... I actually don't like that Blitz very much(on the box) its all... filled. Striker II looks too circular now. Jade.... I don't even know what to say... its like a remolded Hyper. I mean its like an balance wheel experiment gone horribly wrong. And well, they couldn't have just taken the good parts away, but they actually redesign the old ones to look like them?! It's like they're mocking us! I just don't know what else to say... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jun. 17, 2012 (Jun. 16, 2012 6:16 PM)Kai-V Wrote: I cannot believe that you all would seriously believe that Hasbro's Blitz will be that much heavier and not hollowed out. It looks heavy, but it cannot be, so do not be so impressed or anything ... Oh yes, we certainly aren't expecting it to be outrageously heavy, but we aren't expecting it to be too light either. Well, considering that this is the 4D series, and it usually has been a "weight- 40g plus"(which is all I want, i.e. Hasbro should have this thing weighing over 40g at least) series, we do not hope to see Hasbro mess up the weights at the very least. I actually do not speak of weight directly, when I say that its heavy, even if Hasbro's Blitz turns out to be just as heavy as TT/SK's Blitz, the contact points seem to be heavily reinforced (at least in the picture), which is quite a nice thing for an attacker. Not to mention that it might fix the breakage issues very well... I also believe that the Hasbro 4D wheels wouldn't have the Weight Differences, as TT and SK 4D wheels have had. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 17, 2012 (Jun. 17, 2012 8:07 AM)Janstarblast Wrote: I actually do not speak of weight directly, when I say that its heavy, even if Hasbro's Blitz turns out to be just as heavy as TT/SK's Blitz, the contact points seem to be heavily reinforced (at least in the picture), which is quite a nice thing for an attacker. Reinforcement will only fix the breakage issues, especially if the weight is generally the same. The contact points actually either seem smoothened, like what Hasbro did to Galaxy, or exactly the same as TAKARA-TOMY's and SonoKong's Blitz. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - UGottaCetus - Jun. 17, 2012 And now, Hasbro has really complicated things by remolding the old tips to look like other ones. Now when these are released and someone asks you, "Is SF any good?" or "Is B any good?" you will have to say "Which one, the Blitz Striker[Jade Jupiter] one or the Inferno Gasher[Rock Aries] one?" and it will just be a mess. These will likely have different performance than the first versions(C'mon, that's a Wide Semi-Flat, Hasbro!) and we will have to call out which one we're using when testing and stuff like that. Okay, maybe I'm overthinking this, but still. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 17, 2012 It's actually been known for a while that these will have drastic performance differences. Why would changing them not affect performance? That's ignoring very simple science. What are you even on about with the tracks and tips, we know everything pretty much. Rubber is being eliminated as a practical medium. I say we 'know everything' from an L-Drago Destructor, with the PC Core being all plastic now. I still think removing rubber is a preventative measure not for wear and tear, but "balancing the game". RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Angry Face - Jun. 17, 2012 (Jun. 17, 2012 7:32 PM)UGottaCetus Wrote: And now, Hasbro has really complicated things by remolding the old tips to look like other ones. The SF on the back of Striker II's box looks like a legit RSF (you can kinda see the rubber inside), so it looks like Hasbro just didn't bother to take a picture of it with SF instead... They're such a troll, "You could have had this, but we decided not to give it to you. So here's a picture of what you're missing. ;/)" Same probably goes for RB. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Dracomageat - Jun. 17, 2012 PRSF and PRB? Or just PSF and PB? Seems the obvious way to distinguish between them and the regular versions. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 17, 2012 Semi-Wide ball and Wide Semi Flat are more apt names, plus, blegh four letter acronyms for simple parts. :I RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Dracomageat - Jun. 17, 2012 Wide Semi Flat sure but "Semi Wide Ball"? That implies either that it's only partially wide (what does that even mean?) or that its only partially a ball (simply untrue). Umm, W²B (Wave Wide Ball)? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Jun. 17, 2012 In all retrospect they'll most likely end up being SF and B respectively. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 17, 2012 No, either it's Hasbro's remolding of tips, or "Plastic Ball" (Which was supposed to be Rubber Ball) itself is really between Wide Ball and just..... Ball? Ninja'd RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Thunder Dome - Jun. 17, 2012 This is turning into the Hasbro hater thread |
