401 Games.
Cardmasters.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Priscient - Apr. 18, 2011

Be warned that 401 games has less singles, however is cheaper than Cardmasters.
Every other place in Toronto is basically horrible though.

Cardmasters also seems to have a higher level of competitiveness. (Less Mis-plays made by players there, etc.)

Two of the exclusive cards in the Fiend structure deck are revealed.

Grapha, Dragon God of Dark World
Gate of the Dark World

So there is no reason for me to get back into it, except for "just for fun" type matches Uncertain The reason I quit was because I wasn't good because I didn't have any good cards because I had no money.

Well, what my mate did was save up a few hundred dollars, then by like 50 collectors tins, kept 1 of the tins, then sold all the promo cards for like $5-10 and then got his money back and more, and then he had a big collection of other cards he could sell, he made a profit and then bought more collections, technically he got his whole collection for free, and he even made a profit in the end.

Doomcaliber Knight (oh yeah!), Tytannial, Gravekeeper's Spy, Royal Oppression, Obelisk the Tormentor (legal version), Five-Headed Dragon, Pendulum Machine, Millenium Shield, Goddess of Whim, Toon Dark Magician Girl, Toon World (alternate art).

Plus the mats actually look decent (except they're using the green Dark Magician).

>Tytannial
>Obelisk

I salty. I traded heavy for Tytannial and was after her for the better part of 6 months. Now she's getting reprint. Blah.

Like the mats though. Probablly gonna have to get all 3.

Went 1-2 with Ice Barriers this weekend (after tweaks from HA4 including Raiho and Gentala).

Topdecking, I hate thee.
Posting decklist later this week. I'd like some critique. I'd post it now but don't have it on me.
Also, splitting a box of EV with bro. Can anyone point me to some sample Tech Genius builds?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Gamer420 - Apr. 25, 2011

What's top-decking? Is it like stacking?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Odin - Apr. 25, 2011

Top Decking is where, like in Plaguespreader Zombie's effect, you return a card from your side of the field or card in your hand to the top of the deck, thereby knowing what your next draw will be, and being able to play around that. There are also cards that let you put one card from your deck on the top after shuffling. And there are cards like Big Eye, which let you arrange a certain number of cards on the top of your deck in any order you desire. So, they basically let you know what you'll draw, and play around that. Needless to say, they're pretty annoying to opponents, but nice for you to use.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Roan - Apr. 25, 2011

Um... No.

Top-decking is where your opponent draws into one of, if not their only, answer to your field, breaks your board and then proceeds to win the game as a result of it. In other words, it's when you think you've got the game in the bag and then your opponent draws into some crazy powerful card or play.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Odin - Apr. 25, 2011

Ohhh... I guess I have been misusing that term for years, then. So what did I describe, if anything?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Gamer420 - Apr. 25, 2011

My locals had a tag team tourney on, 4 rounds me and meforthewin used Drags and GB's and we lost to LSS and some weird BW builds, one of the BW players was a cocky little so and so, after the match a kid asked who won and he said '' We did, obviously.'' I hate cocky players, he also tried to con me out of DAD, Black Rose and Armed Wing in return, some Dragunity carp from Hidden Arsenal 4, we pulled a few packs of HA04, no Trish sadly. Unhappy We lost 2-0 in both duels, Am trying to convince meforthewin to play Drags, since they're somewhat cheap (Barring Synchros.).

That's what i though i am quite good i played this game since i was like 4 so its natural that i know the good cards

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - JBey - Apr. 26, 2011

kk, so, deciding wether or not to build ice barriers, as I pulled BOTH Gungnir AND Trishula THIS WEEK.

Any thoughts???

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Priscient - Apr. 26, 2011

Yeah, players will almost always try to make a profit out of other people. (I'm pretty sure this should go for everybody that plays this game.)

And Jbey, Nice job pulling both of them however, that doesn't mean you need to build ice barriers (seeing how they're bad anyways.) You can build Fish OTK instead and use both those cards?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - JBey - Apr. 26, 2011

thx, man. I have a LOT of the other cards, too.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Mr. Armani - Apr. 26, 2011

Can Someone Post The Yugioh!Zexal Episodes ENG SUB?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - LightningVoltix - Apr. 26, 2011

I got Final Countdown some days ago and I'm wondering if it's actually a good card.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Gamer420 - Apr. 26, 2011

No, unless you run a stall deck.

YuGiOh Zexal - DRANZ3R - Apr. 28, 2011

does anyone over here think yugioh zexal is actually going to be good?

RE: YuGiOh Zexal - Raigeko13 - Apr. 28, 2011

Hmm is it a brand new series, or will it still have Yusei?

Oh god really? I actually kinda liked Yusei's hair. I think it's about high time I go and give this a quick little Google search...
EDIT: Oh my god. He looked horrible.
I have lost all faith in Yu-Gi-Oh now Unhappy
