RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Aug. 28, 2011 Grand Centus's faceoff set ahs been known for a while now, and has proboboly already been released in some areas. SOL BLAZE?! =D What does this mean for hasbro, I must wonder.... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Nuzumaki90 - Aug. 28, 2011 (Aug. 28, 2011 6:35 PM)Clonetos Wrote: http://www.konami.com/games/beyblademetalmasters Look at the 5th picture and tell me what ya see remember 5th picture No way, Hasbro is keeping Sol Blaze's original name, I didn't expect that RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Aug. 28, 2011 No biggie if you ask me, it doesn't mean they'll make it. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Aug. 28, 2011 I disagree. A dubbed movie with new beys means more money for Hasbro. Hasbro isn't stupid, the movie will more than likley be dubbed and we will proboblys ee the release of Sol Blaze sometime in the future. It might be with another version of this new game, it might be just a normal beyblade product, or it could be distributed in some other eleborate matter. Speculation aside, this is a very promising sign of good fortune from hasbro, indeed. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Clonetos - Aug. 28, 2011 (Aug. 28, 2011 6:49 PM)BeyBladestation Wrote: No biggie if you ask me, it doesn't mean they'll make it.its a gamble but still not a definite answer but its still something RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Prince Blaze - Aug. 28, 2011 They will probably do what they did with the V-Force movie. Sell the DVD for the Movie, but include footage of the upcoming World Tournament They might add Sol Blaze as a prize though... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - AeroRespawn - Aug. 28, 2011 WARNING: BASELESS SPECULATION: OR they might do what they did with a Yu-Gi-Oh! movie I remember from a while back where you purchase your movie tickets, and you get 1 Sol Blaze per child or 1 per ticket if wanted. I remember buying tickets to the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie and they gave me like 2 packs with 2 movie exclusive cards in each. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Aug. 28, 2011 In Theaters? I doubt they would do that at all. However, Sol Blaze might be sold specially. However, Sol Blaze might be sold specially. It's just a thought. I really wish they'd stop making some beys video game exclusive. Though if they didn't, their games would never sell, hah. But I agree with BBS. Though Beyblade is popular, I don't think it's popular enough to have a movie in theaters. If they did release it in theaters, though, I'd drag my parents to see it. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Aug. 28, 2011 I also do not think they could just give away free beyblades either. It isn't as worthless as one pokemon or yugioh card, you know what I mean? Back in the day, 50 pokemon cards or yugioh cards could be worth the price of 1 or 2 beyblades, but 1 card on it's own (not accounting for rarity) is practicly worthless. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Aug. 29, 2011 (Aug. 28, 2011 7:25 PM)Kaiba Hiwatari Wrote:(Aug. 28, 2011 7:17 PM)iBeyblader Wrote: WARNING: BASELESS SPECULATION: Pokemon movies are screened in theaters in Japan. In the US, they are not. Pokemon is a hundred thousand times as popular in the US, compared to Beyblade. If Pokemon movies don't see theaters, Beyblade getting one is a cocaine-fueled pipedream at best. The most likely thing to occur, if we get any Beyblade DVD release, is that it will be packaged with something special - most Pokemon DVD releases in the US contain a limited edition movie-only card, for example. We may get Sol Blaze as a package deal with it. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Sasodo - Aug. 29, 2011 It is possible but not too possible. I do see the movie being released but I'm kind of at a half point about Sol Blaze getting released with it, I mean we didn't get Gaia Dragoon S or any of the Dark Series beys with Fierce Battle did we, so it might be the same way with this movie or they could completely go against what they did in that movie and release the bey with this movie. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Shabalabadoo - Aug. 29, 2011 Quote:The opportunity to play to qualify for the BEYBLADE World Championship, as described below in the Grand Prize, is designed to showcase and judge the talent of Beybladers with roughly the same level of experience and maturity and is therefore only open to individuals from participating countries between the ages eight (8) and twelve (12) years old (the "World Championship Age Requirements") Therefore, entering the Competition for a chance to win the Grand Prize is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who fit within the World Championship Age Requirements as of October 31st, 2011. All other individual legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, e.g., those who are outside the World Championship Age Requirements, may enter the Competition to play the Game for a chance to win Secondary Prizes only and are not eligible to win the Grand Prize. Employees, representatives, and agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of the Sponsor, its parent, related and affiliated companies, the Prize Provider, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, and the independent judging organization are not eligible to enter. read this here, but i was kinda getting confused since there was so much to read. what i bolded was the important part. from what i understand, if you're ages ages 8-12 then you're elegible for the Grand Prize. Anyone else is Elegible for the Secondary Prize. also, in the bolded parts, it says it excludes Quebec residents???? Also, i read that you need to be ages 8-12 when you register in October/November something. If i am correct, you could end up being 13 by the world championships. I could be confused here, though. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Aug. 29, 2011 From what I understood, "Secondary Prize" would be at national championships instead of the world championships because it was already said at some point that the qualifying tournaments do not really have an age limit, but that if you win, you cannot go further to the bigger events anyway. The thought process was probably the same for national to world championships. It does seem that you could end up being thirteen years old for the tournament, but that would only be open to people who are born in five months which are usually not the months couples favour for giving birth because of vacations. Those rules are flawed anyway : it says you need to be a legal Canadian resident to enter the "BEYBLADE World Championships", so what happens to everybody else from the rest of the world ... Also, as a Québec resident, I have no idea what they mean everytime they write that it excludes Québec residents. Does that mean that we simply do not fit anywhere and that we cannot enter at all, or does that mean that we can fit everywhere no matter our age ? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Shabalabadoo - Aug. 29, 2011 Quote:THE GRAND PRIZE AND GRAND PRIZE VALUE There is one (1) Grand Prize to be won. The Grand Prize consists of: Quote:THE SECONDARY PRIZES AND SECONDARY PRIZE VALUE there, i read a little more and saw this. edited with grand prizes RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Aug. 29, 2011 What are these though ? How can there be one-hundred secondary prizes ? So for sure, it has nothing to do with the world championships, because it would be insane to somehow give one-hundred secondary prizes away when less people than that are technically supposed to play there. Qualifying tournaments should have already determined specific winners, national championships will lower that number even more too. What are they talking about ? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - iVtechboyinpa - Aug. 29, 2011 Nah, they just don't like you Quebec people >_< 1jusr kidding. Meteo L-Drago Crushing Blast Double Pack L-Drago Battle Set RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Aug. 29, 2011 Hah, actually from what I understood, we have certain laws compared to the rest of Canada, but I do not even know what they are and I did not even know they existed before. While we are partially on the subject of the new packaging design since you posted other manuals, why is Hasbro using the shape of the Phoenix Face so prominently on their new packages, as if it were special ? They could not make their own fire so they had to copy exactly the Phoenix Face ? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Latios300000 - Aug. 29, 2011 ok so im confuised im 14 and i would like to enter the national tournaments but i cant since im 14 but will i still be able to enter the WORLD TOURNAMENTS because this november im gonna be 15 so im just wondering if i can enter the WORLD TOURNAMENTS (Aug. 29, 2011 6:05 AM)Kai-V Wrote: Hah, actually from what I understood, we have certain laws compared to the rest of Canada, but I do not even know what they are and I did not even know they existed before. ok i want to enter the national tournaments but i cant since im 14 and i was wondering if i will be able to enter the WORLD TOURNAMENTS but by the time the world tournaments start i will be 15 will i be able to enter? You think it's flawed that a broadcaster that only transmits in Canada would contain legal information only regarding Canadians? That's just kind of normal. The rest of the world will have to wait for their local broadcasters, or Hasbro to run the campaign. As for Quebec, AFAIK there are some contest laws that make it pretty difficult to run a contest both in English Canada, and French Canada at the same time. So most of the time Quebec is not eligible. Teletoon will be airing Metal Fusion so I suppose they could have a French Canada exclusive equivalent contest. Since Beyblade.com still redirects almost directly to YTV's site, and that it is for some reason the only site that really has information about the world championships, yes, I would expect that they would consider the world viewers as well ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - To - Aug. 29, 2011 The redirect could very well be based on our IPs, you know. Even if the rest of the world does get redirected there, the contest is not actually on that page. Things with a * are things I posted last night. I divided it into multiple spoilers so my post doesn't get huge. Only open one spoiler at a time unless you want a super huge post. So, now from what I understand: -This is for Canada only -To sign up, you either go to a YTV W.O.W event and fill in a form and get a code. -There are no prizes at the YTV W.O.W events. -If you were unable to go to a YTV W.O.W event, you send a "Self Adressed Postage Stamp Envelope" -The code you get is for BeybladeBattles.com -You get one "Virtual Top" with this code. -People who complete the "Sign-Up form" get a bonus Virtual Top. -To be able to qualify for the Beyblade World Championship, you must be ages 8-12 as of October 31 2011 -If you are not in those ages, you are still eligible for Secondary Prizes -On December 2, 2011 between 10:00 a.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. ET, people with the most number of points are potential Grand Prize winners. -Points are won through online Battles at BeybladeBattles.com. -More points=more chance of winning -You will be contacted if you are a Grand Prize winner, if you decline then you are an "Ineligible" Grand Prize winner. -Grand Prize winner goes to the Beyblade World Championships -(For the Secondary Prize): On December 2, 2011 between 10:00 a.m. ET and 5:00 p.m ET, 3 eligible entrants for the Secondary Prize with the most points will be chosen as Potential Secondary Prize winners. You will be contacted if you are a Secondary Prize winner, if you decline then you are an "Ineligible" Secondary Prize winner. -Open the "Prize Value" spoiler to see the prizes -Quebec is not in this. ...So, this is ridiculous Canada. ALL THROUGH BEYBLADEBATTLES.COM??? You idiots. That shows nothing of how good someone is at beyblading... I think I know why Quebec is not in this. On the back of Hasbro Beyblades, it says "BeybladeBattles.com not open to Quebec residents under the age of 13". So, since you must be under 13 to join BeybladeBattles.com, quebec can't join. A-holes, lol. |
