RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Shadowhaunter - Jul. 14, 2011 (Jul. 14, 2011 11:23 PM)Raigeko13 Wrote: Guys no ridges means that if you use an attack type with a bey using something like RF, it will ALWAYS KO itself... And beys like Rock (which is good in Hasbro stadiums) would become so useless because of the recoil. I honestly see no promise with Lions Lair, but it'll be an interesting stadium. I've never seen a bey KO itself just because a stadium has no ridges indented in the plastic. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jul. 14, 2011 Very true there, Raigeko, we cannot guess this yet... It wouldn't self KO seeing there's a notable slope RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Shadowhaunter - Jul. 15, 2011 (Jul. 14, 2011 11:38 PM)BeyBladestation Wrote: Very true there, Raigeko, we cannot guess this yet... I'd be more quick on my feet to attach DD, and LL together making one giant stadium. I will call it WBO knock ring of death. Then slap a shipping label on it send it to hasbro and say "here make this instead". RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Jul. 15, 2011 If the slope is a deeper slope, angle wise, then yes, it's possible that RF beys won't self-KO themselves, but even with that, there's still a possibility. I'm just saying that if there is no tornado ridge and that there isn't much more of a slope, it would lead to more seld KO's and easier KO's for just beys in general. This is only an assumtion though. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jul. 15, 2011 Think of "knockouts" as "easily slipping into the pockets and dying there". Having no Tornado Ridge is really not recommended for a good play. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Jul. 15, 2011 Well yes, that's basically what I was referring to when I said knockouts. Just slipping into the pockets. Should've clarified a bit more. Dragons Den (Click to View) Lions Lair (Click to View) The Dragons Den has a tornado ridge while The Lions Lair does not. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Callum6939 - Jul. 15, 2011 Thanks IBlader, seems Dragons Den was like I thought, like a MXS with no flat center RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - AeroRespawn - Jul. 15, 2011 (Jul. 15, 2011 2:27 AM)Callum6939 Wrote: Thanks IBlader, seems Dragons Den was like I thought, like a MXS with no flat center Actually, I think it's just a recolor of LF/MXS. I can see a little bit of the flat center. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Callum6939 - Jul. 15, 2011 (Jul. 15, 2011 2:31 AM)iBeyblader Wrote:(Jul. 15, 2011 2:27 AM)Callum6939 Wrote: Thanks IBlader, seems Dragons Den was like I thought, like a MXS with no flat center yeah, I see it, we'll just have to wait till we get it in, if its a decent mold (one I expected), it might be the only hasbro stadium I have RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - bumpyfelon - Jul. 15, 2011 LL might (IMO) have a Tornado Ridge, but I can't tell from all that paint... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - iVtechboyinpa - Jul. 15, 2011 (Jul. 15, 2011 3:48 AM)Meteo L-Alchemy Wrote: LL might (IMO) have a Tornado Ridge, but I can't tell from all that paint... Yeah they're really ugly colors >.< What is it with Hasbro and their paint...... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Soundwave - Jul. 15, 2011 (Jul. 15, 2011 3:48 AM)Meteo L-Alchemy Wrote: LL might (IMO) have a Tornado Ridge, but I can't tell from all that paint... Yes, can see the enraisement from the edges where teh tordado ridge is... It could also be a prototype (MXS) When I asked for a proof I didn't think we were still speculating xD RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeBattler - Jul. 15, 2011 Or those stadiums might just be for only the xts beys, like it says on the stadium. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jul. 15, 2011 So the stadium is going to not allow MFB? It will just work Better for them if that's the case. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Soundwave - Jul. 16, 2011 Ah, now I can put my thoughts into words Look near teh pocket to teh left, and just look around. You can see a line through the paint (enraisement). It is an optical illusion much like another plastic stadium I can't remember RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - amit93 - Jul. 16, 2011 i think they would still be good (by hasbro standards) for regular beys RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Soundwave - Jul. 16, 2011 (Jul. 16, 2011 9:21 AM)amit93 Wrote: i think they would still be good (by hasbro standards) for regular beys I don't see why not... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Temporal - Jul. 16, 2011 Heck, these should be plain awesome by Hasbro's standards. I mean, look at the last three stadiums released: Bolt Blast, Burning Firestrike, and Triple Change. All terrible. Another step in the right direction with Dragon's Den if it doesn't have a gimmick. Lion's Lain is just interesting. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - iVtechboyinpa - Jul. 16, 2011 Went to the Toys "R" Us thing today. It was pretty cool! The manager didn't know anything XD but the kids did. Some of them even knew of the WBO! It'd have helped to get their usernames maybe...oh well. Met another kid my age who liked Beyblade. Too awesome. To say something on topic..Hasbro needs to raise their standards lol. Bolt Blast with the spiral, Burning Firestrike with the lines, Max Stampede with the craters, Triple Change with the cores. All bad. Gimmicks should be a nono. Their best so far is MXS..hopefully LL or DD will surpass that. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - /Zephyr/ - Jul. 16, 2011 Went to the Toys "R" Us thing today with my beyspirit burning at 20% more than usual. In 10 seconds flat, my flame was extinguished. I was the only one there, and there were two MXS' laid out on the floor. I wandered around for about 10 minutes, picked up a few freebees (an oversized sticker sheet, a ray striker promo, and a $2 coupon valid only today). I'll scan the stickers later. Then two of my neighborhood beyfriends that I told yesterday came in and we had a few casual battles. All of our stuff is 80% TT, and the ref didn't know. After a few awkward battles, a mentally handicapped man with about 12-15 uncustomized hasbro beys walked in. I taught him to sliding shoot, and told him a few tier 2 customs. He said I was a "freaking pro"and asked if im the best in the world. I said no, i'm 2nd best, the only one that can beat me is Brad Tamer. Turnout: 4 Prizes: Amazing stickers. All in all, not a huge waste of time. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Soundwave - Jul. 16, 2011 (Jul. 16, 2011 9:01 PM)/Zephyr/ Wrote: a ray striker promo Elaborate? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - HollowPerseus - Jul. 16, 2011 I went to ToysRUs, a few kids from ToyWiz showed up and some regular kids who believe their combos are always the best. I won and all I got was a Ray Striker, Galaxy Pegasus, and a Rev-Up. I only kept the performaance tips of the two beys, gave away the others and sold the Rev-Up.
