CARP

Please piss me off after 30 hours of near constant working and no sleep by parking in my goddamn spot. You better hope I leave in the morning before you do.

Just got a god damn blood blister, what a load of bull!

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Zander Soulwind - Mar. 24, 2009

Can't say I've had one but they do look nasty.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - BeyUK-Espio - Mar. 24, 2009

Its basiclly just bleeding under the skin. They don't look nice, I have to agree with you on that =D.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Zander Soulwind - Mar. 24, 2009

Yeah, I saw my mum have one on her finger once, she had to use a needle for it. I really hate needles.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - BeyUK-Espio - Mar. 24, 2009

You don't need to, you can just leave it and it will heal itself. A scab will develop and disappear after a week or so. Popping it with a needle is not recommended as it could cause infection.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Rocky - Mar. 24, 2009

Lol, they're pretty creepy. Just cut it open and get rid of it. ^^; They take aaaages to heal of the bodys own accord.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Zander Soulwind - Mar. 24, 2009

Hm, Fair enough, I'll keep that in mind if I ever get one.

Edit: Yes he is.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Blitz - Mar. 24, 2009

Well I log onto Facebook and see one of my mates status thingy's as 'Pizza Express was on fire' (were I work).
So yeh Kind of worried to whether the people that were working are ok, and if I still have a job >.>
Don't know what to think atm.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Rocky - Mar. 24, 2009

Geez, that sucks. Have they payed you back yet? Sucks even more if they haven't.........at least it's something to talk about. Confused I hope everyone is okay. u_u

Also, where the hell is everyone today? :\

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Blitz - Mar. 24, 2009

I got most my money, was missing £100 but that is going on my next pay check... If i have a next one. But yeh hoping the people that were wroking are ok, I get on well with most of the other staff. I'm meant to be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week, but I don't know if that will happen, it's a smallish resturant and I don't know how big the fire was.
& yeh there hasn't been many people posting today.

This.....

Anyway, today I want riding my bike for the first time this year (with gym starting for me, I thought I might as well start) with a couple of my friends. I got pretty unfit over the winter XD. We were gone for about 2 and a half to 3 hours. Freaking rode my bike to a park about a half-mile away, rested, then rode to a woods where we explored and they (lol)climbed dead trees that were caught over a creek. After that, we went all the way through one of my friends old neghborhoods and then all the way home(this was probably about a couple miles since we went in circles a few times and the neighborhood was big). Then I went to my neighborhood park and "played" tennis for about a half-hour. I'm sooooooooo tired, but it was fun as hell and I learned that even though I'm pretty uncoordinated, I don't play tennis too bad.

Exotic day at work, and dangoures, had a American Kestrel Falcon and Turkey voulcher come it... both ended up getting out of there restrains and flying around... I love rapters.. Just not trying to cetch one that wants to take my head off.... Then had a client come in saying there was a dog in the back of the car. ok no big deal, go to get it, and it's a fully awake wild wolf. I hate to call animal control to have them shoot it with tranquillizeres, they're so slow... Just of the day was just a racoon, posum, a few snakes, and the usual.

Still wondering how she got the wolf in there...

I vehemently loathe excel; I feel like kicking Microsoft in the nads for making me just spend an hour creating linear progression models, and as soon as I click 'solve' I get nothing but zero's. Now I have to go back and recheck everything for the third time to see why it does this.

I also get the consolation that this is the program I have to use at my summer job all day. FUN!

I will never in my life understand why people willingly pursue careers that revolve around this sort of stuff. Ever.

I'll get over it; I was just in a lousy mood and needed to vent some pent up rage. Like all math based problems there is a solution. I shall find it and figure it out.

Oh, money plays a big role.

You could use a higher level programming language (if you know one) - like C, or even Visual Basic. You can definitely solve the models using Excel, but the interface is really lacking for you to easily review your calculations.

And considering these kinds of people will make ludicrous amounts of money in salary and benefits, it's a pretty lucrative avenue to find a profession.
