Theres already a thread for EWD .
From what people say , WD and EWD are basically the same.

Yes, but EWD has a free spinning tip, which sometimes gets stuck.
So the preferred bottom is WD

RE: MFB Tiers list - Vamasco_ - Feb. 10, 2011

So , you're saying that EWD should be in Tier 2 ?
EWD does win against WD ... Blah did said that EWD is about to lose but thanks to the free spinning part it manages to win .So we really need more tests , I'll try to get one Killer Beafowl of Ebay as soon as I can .

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 10, 2011

Yes like everything sufficient testing is required before it is placed. Also should H145 be put in attack cause I think it does have some uses in attack combos.

H145 has decent attack, but I believe R145 has outclassed it, I have yet to test it, I'm stuck with H145.

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 10, 2011

Yep testing, testing and more testing. That's what we need yet no one ever does any! Getting slightly annoyed about this as you can see.

no it isnt, storm is super outclassed

Storm is a good wheel, but of course not better than vulcan. Storm works for me. Who cares if it's outclassed.

Everyone cares if its out classed (off topic)

what happened to putting EWD in stamina

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 11, 2011

As with several other things EWD needs more testing.

Storm is not a good wheel for attack. It is heavily outclassed and no where near as good as vulcan which is the best wheel for attack atm.

lightning does better VS RS then vulcan...

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 11, 2011

Okay then it's pretty much a tie against Vulcan and Lightning.

RE: MFB Tiers list - lightninglibraX - Feb. 12, 2011

well i noticed that u said that MB needed more testing still but is there specific tests? ive been working mostly in stamina, but it also works for destabilizing.

RE: MFB Tiers list - master77 - Feb. 12, 2011

Guys Rock metal wheel can be used for a very good smash attack it beat gravity perseus D125RF Right spin Counter mode and it beat Meteo ldrago 100R2F Asault dont forget the MF try it your selfthe combo my friend my with rock is MF Rock Pegasis W105R2F

RE: MFB Tiers list - lord Wolfblade - Feb. 12, 2011

attack VS attack is almost useless, and we already know about rock's attack power

i really don't think Vulcan should be tier 1 anymore, RS just kills it, it was good but VS RS Vulcan isn't that great of a option as lightning and meteo(?) do better

well, not necessarily. Especially in a topic like this. If we were to organize the wheels, or anything else that is in the exact same category, from best to last, then attack vs attack is necessary.

The parts in the tiers aren't supposed to be equal. Gravity isn't as good as Vulcan so should that go too? Anyway you're the only one who has displayed this view and one members view vs everyone else's opposite ones don't matter much.

RE: MFB Tiers list - lord Wolfblade - Feb. 12, 2011

not my tests
Quote:
MF-H Earth Aquario GB145RS vs MF Gravity Perseus(Left Counter) 100RF

MF-H Earth Aquario GB145RS:3 wins
MF Gravity Perseus(Left Counter) 100RF:7(1 by KO) wins
0 draws
GP(Left Counter) win percentage:70%

Quote:
Vulcan Horuseus 90R2F VS MF Earth (Second Mold) Bull GB145RS

5 - 5; Vulcans win rate 50%

here you go, but if you still wont listen then oh well...

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 12, 2011

Fine. Personally I don't either vulcan or Gravity Perseus. I thought Vulcan was better. Even if it's the worst one in tier 1 which may or may not be true it's still a much better than most of the wheels in tier 2 and as such it goes in tier 1. Also one thing to take into account is that it's in left spin mode which does better vs RS so if it was in right spin it would probably be about the same i'm guessing.

RE: MFB Tiers list - Shabalabadoo - Feb. 12, 2011

Well, lord wolfblade, if you look at what's in tier 1- meteo, gravity, etc, then look what's in tier 2- Pegasis, ray, etc.
Which one does vulcan fit with.
Does it fit with ray and Pegasis? No
Does it fit with gravity and meteo? More so than with ray and Pegasis.

true, really to me its more of a tier 1.5 then 2 or 1

anyways i will stop now

RE: MFB Tiers list - Shabalabadoo - Feb. 12, 2011

I agree that the other wheels are more versatile though.
Gravity is good at heights 85-145, and has multi directional spin.
Meteo Can help to equalize the spin, still giving a chance to win if there isn't a KO.

RE: MFB Tiers list - Ultra - Feb. 12, 2011

Glad you brought this up. Didn't know Vulcan wasn't that great. Don't think i'll buy it now. Anyway once 1 or 2 more wheels that outclass it for attack come along I think it should be downgraded.

RE: MFB Tiers list - Shabalabadoo - Feb. 12, 2011

Well, in a way, now that 230 can dominate low tracks, Mf vulcan horuseus 85 r2f is a niche combo.
It kills 145, but against the same height, it isn't all too good.
It also sucks against 230, obviously.

Where the main contact points are, are at an upward angle, so it can only hit super hard when it is right under the opposing beyblade.

Vulcan is probably the most powerful strictly right spin wheel, however Lightning is about on par with it and it is left spin. I think Vulcan was another case of the "Quetz" syndrome, in that everyone who bought it wanted it to be great because of the $40+ they spent.

RE: MFB Tiers list - Dan - Feb. 13, 2011

I do not see how, Vulcan is great..
I'm certain that Vulcan's capabilities definitely over-shadow the $28..
I don't know which is better of the three (Gravity, LLD and Vulcan) but I think Gravity takes a slight lead due to its multi-spin over Vulcan. LLD is just an immovable wall plain and simple.
230 murdered Vulcan, but little people have 230 and use it in tournaments so...
