Not all Turbo layers will have metal but some will, based on this. Which means that Hades H4 could have the metal center bit if its gonna have metal, well that's my theory. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - DrainBladerAMVS - Jan. 07, 2019 I'm pretty sure that Operate will have its hop ability because In the Beyblade burst app it shows Operate with the slingshot and switchstrike logo. I think with a lighter layer it will hop more. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Grey Bey - Jan. 07, 2019 wow, even though it's not as much metal as the TT one,it is...a good start,I think? Well not everyone uses the app, so just wanted to let those people know RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Jan. 07, 2019 True, not everyone uses the app RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - IronFace879 - Jan. 07, 2019 (Jan. 07, 2019 5:02 PM)CrazyAries Wrote:(Jan. 07, 2019 4:04 PM)Basalt Fox Wrote: Did you got it? With a marginal amount of metal on the very end of the sword, Hasbro’s Breaker Xcalius (I dunno what this is called but let’s just keep it as Xcalius X4) will end up extremely wobbly most of the time, in order for Hasbro to solve the super wobble problem, either they need to make the entire sword metal or focus some metal on the hilt of the sword or the beginning part of the sword (that being on the hilt). If you happen to be incapable of finding which part is metal, try looking at the end of the sword then the top of the sword. You’ll notice a slight colour and material change. Unfortunately he had sold it. But he said that the slope is not very good. BTW, here are some pics of the driver. What is interesting is that, unlike other drivers that pop out a large flat tip in SlingShock mode, this driver draw the small tip back instead (So its height in SlingShock mode should become shorter). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Jan. 09, 2019 Oh crud its all plastic! Why?! They could've just made the hilts metal at least... No, actually that wouldn't work, there isn't any room for the hilts to even stay on with the Slingshock in the way... Either way, Hasbro has gotten themselves in a worse spot. Screw the metal being on the Layer, I think I would rather have the Tip with the metal. Well... you know, Hasbro removed rubber and POM of Friction as well... for me it is not surprising to see a whole plastic Sw. ![]() RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Jan. 09, 2019 (Jan. 09, 2019 12:24 AM)CrazyAries Wrote:(Jan. 09, 2019 12:12 AM)BeyCrafter Wrote: Oh crud its all plastic! Why?! They could've just made the hilts metal at least... How could they take away what they never had to begin with? At least Friction made sense. Hasbro never made POM for Beyblades from the beginning, hence the different Engine Gear on Zeus, and the rubber on Friction doesn't do much at all. In fact the only realistic way the rubber on Friction can be used was demonstrated in the manga, that it could fling the Revive Armor when Friction spins onto it, but realistically that probably doesn't work very well and the armor most likely doesn't shoot off that far or fast if it works a good chunk of the time. Oh gosh, that's really wack, considering how they were able to do X3 and have the sword and tip have metal this is really weird. The least I thought would be that it would have metallic paint on it to hide the obvious plastic part. Even the slopes aren't good so that's gonna be a huge yikes, I hope we at least get a release of 1' or even the dagger frame. That's really really not good. Makes me worry about future evolution of Beys and the big nerf they're gonna get. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - IronFace879 - Jan. 09, 2019 (Jan. 08, 2019 11:47 PM)CrazyAries Wrote:(Jan. 08, 2019 6:51 PM)originalzankye Wrote: Are there any pictures of the slopes for bX or more of the actual Bey other than the layer? Now that Sw is made entirely of plastic, I’m starting to feel Hasbro’s terrible work. Ir is made of plastic with a strong amount of metal on six small beams and one big beam like performance tip. Turns out this makes Xcalius X4 the first to have an all plastic tip in its line and plastic S3 ain’t gonna slow it down, it’ll make it way too fast. As a minus to this, even the two sword blades have been made plastic, further rendering Xcalius X4’s Fourth Impact to waste. It’s not even a Fourth Impact anymore. And is Hasbro going to create a Dagger frame just for Xcalius? If your friend tells us yes, then it’s fine. If your friend doesn’t answer, I have one thing to say, Hasbro ain’t gonna give us any thanks to that 3Hit fiasco. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Jan. 09, 2019 I bet Spin Master could probably make a better Beyblade line than both TT and Hasbro after what Hasbro is giving us. So Xcalius X4 has metal, whoopdy freakin' doo, who cares?! If the tradeoff was that Sword-S is stripped from what it originally was, a metal Jaggy, than it's the worst decision just to appeal the freaking vocal minority that the Turbo layers NEED the metal!! If they just gave a Jaggy-S than what they obviously made just so that Xcalius has metal, than that would actually be better, imo. The vocal would be worse than what it probably is, but it's better if this doesn't get to exist. The Beyblade team obviously have a trash budget if they can't give us a full Beyblade Burst Turbo experience and that they don't care enough to actually fight for a better budget if they got a worse budget than when they started making Beyblade Burst. My little theory. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - ClearWing R34 - Jan. 09, 2019 Hasbro what the oof are you doing with x4. Hasbro has basically ruined the greatness in switch strike and now for new evolutions for beys they are worse than their previous evolution E.g longinus line is the line which was the gimmick of metal and brutal longinus is just non of that not even a bit. What will the children watching turbo feel like when the parts don't have the metal or gimmick it's sorta misleading even though the drivers are the same drivers in the anime it is completely different gimmick or some parts are taken out btw sorry for the rant I don't like hasbro anymore but I do like the hasbro exclusive beys (Jan. 09, 2019 6:42 AM)BeyCrafter Wrote: I bet Spin Master could probably make a better Beyblade line than both TT and Hasbro after what Hasbro is giving us. My little theory. I totally agree RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Jan. 10, 2019 I don't know about their budget, but they're certainly pulling out the cheapness. I finally got some of the Slingshock two-packs in the Cincinnati area, and I gotta admit I'm both elated and disappointed at once. Hunter-S is made out of... something? It's clearly not rubber, but it doesn't feel like the plastic surrounding it either? It sucks terribly, but just what is this thing made out of? Also, why would you ever make this taller? It can catch the ridge just fine without the height. Flugel-S is so loose that I keep having issues with it switching to Slingshock mode mid-battle even if I launch it in the normal mode, and the same thing happens with my Fusion-S too despite having a different kind of mechanism. Fortunately this didn't carry over to Survive-S, even though it has the same kind of mode switcher as Flugel-S. Needle-S shouldn't even be classified as a Defense driver, it's that broken. Even in "normal" mode there's no way to actually spin on the ball, which means you're spinning exclusively on the guarding spikes at all times. On the better side of things we have Xtend-S, which seems to behave pretty well in its standard form and exceeds the original Xtend. Not Xtend+, but it's still pretty good as far as Slingshock drivers go. Also in the maybe good pool is Wedge-S, which is basically a wide Survive with a metal edge. By far better than the original Wedge and is basically every hope I ever had about Wedge thrown into a single part. Liner-S is also surprising. It has some incredibly tight burst resistance with a strong spring and mostly acts like any regular Ball driver with an actually decent amount of Stamina power. Far less disappointing than I expected overall. The layers have the same up-and-down problem. Galaxy Zeutron looks kinda ugly and lost its marbles, Crash Roktavor somehow got its wings locked in place (which was something I downright refused to believe, but can't really deny with it in my hands), and Spiral Treptune is missing a lot of painted details around the eyes on top of losing a bunch of weight due to its hollowness and lack of rubber. Oh yeah, and Guardian Kerbeus' orange paint is poorly applied and doesn't stay within its bounds. On the plus side again, Hazard Kerbeus has better burst resistance, and... I guess the recolored dual layers kinda look neat with their unique thematic paint jobs of thorns, ice, volcanic ash, and literally just being gold? Man, Gold-X Betrometh really got the short end of the stick didn't it? So... yeah. I like some of it, I don't like a lot more of it. Overall most happy about Kerbeus, which is pretty darned close and has an actually decent Slingshock driver and handily beats out all the others I got today with ease, although I really, really like Wedge-S and want to see what it can pull off too. My Wedge fanaticism is back baby! RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Dt20000 - Jan. 10, 2019 I noticed a point brought up a few times a long time ago that got drowned up and forgotten, but I agree with it. Takara Tomy creates the beys originally, and they have a deal with Hasbro. That means that, while Hasbro is able to create unique beyblades and rebrand TT beys, but only with the control and help of TT. That means that TT has control of Hasbro, meaning they aren’t totally at fault. It's possible that TT is being pretty loose in all of this and Hasbro is taking advantage of that, which would kind of make both at fault (TT for not being strict enough, Hasbro for being this cheap with everything). All companies have one goal, which is to make money. When Hasbeys are very accurate, TT makes less money, but if they are inaccurate and cheaped out on, more people would want to buy from TT, so they make more money than Hasbro. |
