Thanks.

So using that, I made this:
[Image: Finalgingkasig.png] A bunch of times the cut didn't work and I had to start all over, so as you can see I got frustrating and stopped trying. Terrible cutting result Unhappy

RE: General GFX Thread - Synth - Jul. 31, 2011

you should only have 1 render for the sig to have flow Uncertain

the pen tool is really helpful, sparta. try to use it Smile(try reading some tutorials to Smile)

WHY IS IT ALWAYS GIRL???!!?!

Kidding. It looks awesome!

RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladerPotter - Jul. 31, 2011

Well, its because I just wanted to try it out. Your gift and Zed's are the only two graphics I ever made with a girl.

RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladerPotter - Jul. 31, 2011

Hey, it looks nice! You seriously have to try working with C4D's. The left side feels empty though. Thanks again! Grin

RE: General GFX Thread - Xyo - Jul. 31, 2011

yes it seems so ill try next time Joyful_3 and i really need PS as for some tutorials im trying so i can find mt "Style" all of them are on PS

RE: General GFX Thread - Kai-V - Jul. 31, 2011

Important fact : you do not need anything from Cinema 4D, nothing even outside of yourself to make good graphics.

RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladeStation - Jul. 31, 2011

Exactly.

That's why those critics did not realize that graphics does not mean C4D.

RE: General GFX Thread - Xyo - Jul. 31, 2011

i only used C4D's once actually the tag with Lightning i found a cool pic(stock)

RE: General GFX Thread - BeybladerPotter - Jul. 31, 2011

I never said C4D's are needed to make a graphic. I never said that effects are needed to make one. They just make it better. But they're not a MUST. Actually, I don't care whether I made a nice one or a cool one. What matters to me most is that I had fun making it. GFX-ing seems like the perfect hobby for someone like me.

RE: General GFX Thread - Vintage - Jul. 31, 2011

I'd say that the thing that needs most skill for PS is using the Pen Tool, that thing is extremely hard to use. And they don't necessarily make your graphics better, they could just ruin it. And Xyo, don't worry, I'm sure you'll find your style soon. Smile
Oh, and I'm still in Portland btw.

RE: General GFX Thread - othellog - Jul. 31, 2011

Xyo, style is something your just learn over time, just wait a little. For ex: Pick a signature or a piece art that you are most proud of, and try to relate all your next pieces to that. Its very hard to explain. I mean, people here have their each individual style. I can tell by people signatures that they like a certain tool or a certain effect, that also helps create style. Xrl8 likes to of a lot of radial blurs, and vintage's font placement is like no other, in a good way. There are a lot of different styles, you just have to improvise on one others style in order to create your own. That is just how it is Smile

I like to use big fonts, but people kill me on that, lol.
Once you get better, you'll definitely find your style.

RE: General GFX Thread - DynaZord - Jul. 31, 2011

I started messing around with Pixlr this morning, so I need advice/opinions on this:
I made the same one, but with a different font:
I'd just like to state, these were made for fun and in no way am I going to use either of these as my own sig. I like my current one ^^
I know these aren't as well-made as they could have been, but this was just a boredom session. I may touch up/remake if necessary, and if I want to.

RE: General GFX Thread - Sparta - Jul. 31, 2011

The cutting ain't half bad, but I don't like the liner round Tyson. Good color matching, though.

Hmmm, its ok. Just don't cover up your cuts by a glow Tongue_out. Imo it makes the signature less professional.
I made a new video, btw:

RE: General GFX Thread - DynaZord - Jul. 31, 2011

Thanks, I'll fix it Tongue_out I'm redoing the whole thing now. I made two so I could be helped with deciding the font.

RE: General GFX Thread - Sparta - Jul. 31, 2011

Ok, so I tried my patients and changed it up a bit. I have no idea what using "one render" is (no0b) so I just went with whatever: (Click to View)
I moved the storm pegasus to the bottom left-where it should be-and added a different gingka that could almost fit anywhere.

Thanks Joyful_2 I figured the best way to get experience is to just keep making them, so I opened a shop. That way I'll keep making them and get better and better.

Hold on, I'll shoot you a PM.
