Yep, you can live on your own at 16, though people generally get together (Like 3-4 friends), housemates basically, and kinda live in a flat together, makes it easier on paying for things and it also means you have company.

I'd like to thank Artie for that post a few pages back. If you don't want me to talk about it, I won't. To Roy, learn your stuff. I'd never do anything that would kill me, I'm not dumb about it. I read on everything I take, a lot, before I take it.

End of discussion

I got sent home from school. Damn flu Pinching_eyes

Its the whole of the UK, not just England

Dont mean to sound snappy, but I hate it when people refer to the UK as just "England"

and with our current recession and tonnes of jobs going, its getting worse and worse.

I thought we already had this. The other day Gamestation wouldn't let my friend by Mirror's Edge until I came to thie rescue with my ID. D:

And I think 16 years olds can legally live alone (they can get married so I guess they can live alone).......it's just that nobody does. Uncertain (late post lol)

Quite a lot, most of it is our government because they keep putting warmongering idiots into power.

Oh yeah, our government has a big 'political correctness' issue, hence why childhood songs get changed to 'bah bah rainbow sheep' among everything else.

that's a pretty cool age limit restriction you have compared to us over here. The other big difference for restrictions is that it's legal for people over here to drink in bars and buy booze at 18

Unless it'as bargain booze and they don't bother IDing you eventhough you look 14 *points in direction of the scene kids and chavs*

That and if you call a black bag (Its what our rubbish bags have ALWAYS been referred to) that, some of the other "Minorities" apparently get offended.
In all honesty, there's hardly any British people here anymore, mostly people from other countries, especially from places like Somalia and stuff (Just don't get me started on my Muslims being too demanding with our country rant, because I dont shut up and it'll probably offend people)

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - Zander Soulwind - Jan. 15, 2009

Come to think of it, I'm surprised their bring out Resident Evil 5 in the UK, because it is all black people and their really pushy about that stuff.

I haven't actually seen it, I asked my mate if I could borrow it once shes watched it and she said yes, so i'll see it soon enough. She said though its one of those movies you watch on your own or with someone whos never seen it (Because if you watch it with someone who has seen it, youll apparently start asking loads of questions.)

Basically I said I'd do a movie trade since she's never seen Pulp Fiction and is quite interested, she watches that an I watch memento.

I'm curious as to what its like.

Well, I wouldn't know so I'll just go along with that they are, you have more black people there anyway.

I hate saying black people, sounds a bit rude but then wouldn't they say white people away?

They get more offended by being called "Coloured" so I think its safer to say Black.

Very, very light brown. I just hate the thought of discrimination based on something as stupid as skin color. Discriminate by eye color then Tongue_out

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - mdhvdukshsj - Jan. 15, 2009

technically you're right--people with fair skin have very little melanin (having none is albinism), but having very little melanin is not the same as being "shades of brown"

still, i use "black people" because i use the term "white people". i don't use politically correct term caucasian, so i'm not going to use the equally correct african american
