RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 16, 2011 Well, I am quite sure that Korea might still be using Beypointers, yet they released the 3 Segment Launcher Grip with cool cards in special sets. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Dec. 16, 2011 I continuously forget Korea is a place. Still, it seems like there'd be a narrow market for the 3-Seg here anyway. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - phantomcellistf - Dec. 17, 2011 Interesting, Entertainment Earth finally updated the info for Wave 15 and Faceoff 11 Re1. Nothing new, other than the fact that Bakushin Susanow 90WF is part of it.. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Imperial - Dec. 17, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 2:09 AM)phantomcellistf Wrote: Interesting, Entertainment Earth finally updated the info for Wave 15 and Faceoff 11 Re1. Nothing new, other than the fact that Bakushin Susanow 90WF is part of it.. Nice, that's pretty good news, although it probably will be either the regular version from its first Hasbro release or a new version, like was made for Cyber Pegasus. This provides support that the other video game beys will be released, hopefully with tattooed faces. And I hope Vulcan Horuseus will come with a painted wheel. "2x Bakushin Susanow 90WF (Subject to change)" PLZZZZZZZZZ DON'T CHANGE D: RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - JDBriggsBlader - Dec. 17, 2011 YES finally! so now a single pack, time for testing. there is still hope for red cyber, nightmare rex, and vulcan RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Clonetos - Dec. 17, 2011 Not to be skeptical but how do we know its not a videogame one i mean this sounds too good to be true RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - PattyCakeChamp! - Dec. 17, 2011 Don't know of this has been posted but another sonic bey http://toysrus.digby.com/toysrus/product/detail.do?itemId=11884069&categoryId=&path=&productName=Beyblade%20Sonic%20Series%20Spinning%20Tops%20-%20Counter%20Leone RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - njrk97 - Dec. 17, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 6:29 AM)PattyCakeChamp! Besides the obvious lack of organized play : You never hear news from Hasbro. You have no idea what your local store is supposed to have, you need to check it all the time in person. You have no idea what is coming up in the line. You have no idea what is up with Beyblade in general at the moment. That is simply intolerable. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Primal - Dec. 17, 2011 Exactly. If Hasbro wants to have a relatively good reputation, they should at least have specified release dates like TAKARA-TOMY and have a better form of organized play than the TRU 'tournaments'. Release dates would prevent kids (and us) from aimlessly searching for new releases only to come out emptyhanded. As for OP, I would much rather prefer the WBO's official tournaments, but for the kids who aren't on here, they need some way to keep them interested. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 17, 2011 I am certain there would be a way Hasbro could affiliate with us, just point people towards our events, discharge all issues from themselves, and while we get those problems, it is not really our common fault because everybody is just a volunteer in this. Surely this could work out. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - kbuno50 - Dec. 17, 2011 I agree. In my city, I have no good beys around me. Just wave 1, and rarely, 2. I have to go to THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN if I want to get a Hades Kerbecs. Meanwhile, I travel down to florida, and there is no Hades Kerbecs. Best that's there is flame byxis. HASBRO NEEDS TO ORGANIZE. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 17, 2011 I strongly agree with your post Kai-V. A problem though, why they don't do what TT does. TT releases in a very small country, which is Japan. The USA is much harder to do this, due to the size of it, and it would be a hassle to every store that purchased wholesale of it. It wouldn't be THAT hard though to do this. As for the tournaments, do they not realize that we would be a great addition to their arsenal? Our tournaments are much more organized, and not ran by someone who does not have a passion for the game. We are a great business opportunity for both TAKARA-TOMY and Hasbro alike, but Hasbro is the more likely one to partner with us. It's a shame that they don't realize this though. I'm still what-ing the hell out over a release of Bakushin Susanow 90WF seperate... If that's true... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 17, 2011 I understand that it is difficult to make sure that all stores are coordinated, but we cannot accept to be put in such dark by basically everybody, especially Hasbro. Imagine we were not even here : you have no idea what sort of Beyblade fans there are out there, how many there are, what Beyblades they have, what Beyblades your own local stores have, what is coming along next, what Hasbro is planning, etc. The average Blader : you get to have two or three Beyblades, you play with your cousins for a while, and then you get bored because you never get any news of anything. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Dec. 17, 2011 It's a bit of a wild draw comparison to make, honestly - Japan's toy market is considerably more involved and culturally relevant than anywhere else in the world's, despite America being a lot more commercialized. It's not just TT and Hasbro that have these issues, but also companies like Bandai Asia/Bandai of America and the parent company, Bandai Japan. It is quite unfortunate, but we do what we can to help. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - sum 472 - Dec. 17, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 8:29 PM)Raigeko13 Wrote: I strongly agree with your post Kai-V.We would have to be the official sanctioning body of Beyblade! But then since there are more competitive bladers with more knowledge the ''average" blader would have a hard time of actually wining a tournament. TT has the WBBA to hold tournaments. But it might not be a good choice in terms of sales, because Hasbro want to advertise their product and with the majority of bladers having TT beys and accessories.... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - njrk97 - Dec. 18, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 9:18 PM)Kai-V Wrote: I understand that it is difficult to make sure that all stores are coordinated, but we cannot accept to be put in such dark by basically everybody, especially Hasbro. I think hasbro is like this because they have a lot more thing they have to plan and sell tranformers borad games ect oppesed to takara tomy who have pretty much only beyblades to sell so their alot more passionet about it from tt while hasbro just no effort no passion and their not willing to pay to make tourney and cant be bother to get people like you kai to organise them they just dont care about beyblades like we do RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 18, 2011 TAKARA-TOMY does Transformers and MANY more toys, if not more, than Hasbro. It is just Hasbro being simply lazy. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Dec. 18, 2011 If I know anything about Takara-TOMY it is the following; They would do anything and everything to keep thier best selling product alive. Meaning that if they had to, they would drop any and all other products in order to continue the success of that product. The product in mention is obviously Transformers. The day TT goes out of buisness is the day TF stops being popular and earning them money. The day TF stops being popular is the day life is no longer worth living because life would be a pointless, joyless vaccum of nothing where kids are unamused by walking, talking shape-shifting mecha with weapons. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - sum 472 - Dec. 18, 2011 (Dec. 18, 2011 8:02 PM)Raigeko13 Wrote: TAKARA-TOMY does Transformers and MANY more toys, if not more, than Hasbro. Comparison (belongs to Wikipedia) [Scroll Down to the part where it show the products] TAKARA- TOMY : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takara_Tomy Hasbro: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasbro There about the same, alot of those are probably not even localized. I also noticed the lack of tournaments Hasbro hold in Australia , I don't think there has been even one. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 18, 2011 And Australia has not gotten any of the video games either ... For Hasbro : "... There's a southern hemisphere too???" RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Dec. 18, 2011 Australia always gets video games later, that is a completely unrelated issue and has nothing to do with Hasbro. Pick your battles~ RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 18, 2011 It has probably been a year since the first few Beyblade Metal Fusion video games have been released and Hasbro and Nelvana do not seem to have any intention to release them in Australia ever ... Plus, it is completely related, because Australia gets seriously screwed financially by having Beyblades for double the price they are anywhere else, no recognition at all from Hasbro except some products, no events, and no video games. |
