It a random bey in a 2 pack they use 1 bey as a special move one and add another random bey....this bey comes with a Pegasus with his special move.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Nov. 16, 2010

The problem with even calling it 'waves' is that not all stores get the same stock, not at the same time and not in the same order. At the beginning, for New Brunswick I think, their first 'wave' of Beyblade Metal Fusion products only consisted of eletronic Beyblades. It took several weeks from what I remember for them to get anything else.

Even now, some states or provinces have certain items, others do not have them but they have others that the first few provinces and states do not have in stock, and it can take a while before both get to the same 'level' of stock.

I do not know what Hasbro would do with those Beyblades. Not a lot of time is spent on them, Mei Mei is actually quite secondary, and Zhou Xing changes his Virgo for a Poison Virgo in the end anyway. Plus, TAKARA-TOMY did not even re-release Virgo, instead Pisces came out again.

Now, let us say that it is time for Hasbro to release a new series of beys, which is going to be called beyblade metal fusion wave "a". This wave will be released over the course of a set time period, "b". In wave "a" there are "c" # of beys. These beys in this wave will be released at set points durring the time period the wave is going to be ditributed. then when wave "a" is finished, Hasbro will move on to the next wave, and repat the following cycle.

That's exactly how they've released toys for the past two decades. When the boxes arrive at the toystore they even say "Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 2.5, Wave 3, Etc." on them. That does not guarantee time frames though, because stores have to order those waves and if they have a lot of product sitting on the shelves they are not likely to order a whole lot more. Online ordering is different though.

As to why they are making new ones that don't appear in the anime, keep in mind they are not making new clear wheels apparently, just metal ones. So the name Bull is still there and all that. It's just a different version of the Bull.

where did you hear that Hasbro is releasing metal clear wheels??? unless i misread what you are trying to point out.

i had a theory...what if hasbro released pre-HWS as ltd editions of some sort? rare contest prizes or giveaways? tourtament prizes maybe? that is the only way i could think of. maybe as booster packs as well?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Nov. 16, 2010

Yes, he just meant Metal Wheels, not metal Clear Wheels.

Has Hasbro ever had special prizes that were that unique and special ? It seems impossible that they would do that.

Maybe not with Beyblades, but Hasbro has most certainly released Takara only Transformers/remolds of old Transformers for things like Botcon. It's just a matter of Beyblade becoming popular enough for them to consider it. Which it is not anywhere close enough to yet.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

Kai-V: not like that...kinda like what hasbro did with the plastic series? remember the phantom force? metal master? BBA Championship? all hasbro exclusives. my point is, Hasbro should apply that more to MFB, as they have done that a little already, but with new parts as well.

jumping base is one prime example

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Ray Joker - Nov. 16, 2010

Nice post Kai-V. Tell John we really thank him.

I do somewhat agree with Leon for a sort of, special "Hasbro" version of the Beyblades. I'm thinking about Hasbro releasing some sort of special "Constellations" wave of something, based on the stars only instead of Storm, Earth, Rock, etc. to focus more on constellations. But really, only time will tell...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - GL - Nov. 16, 2010

According to Entertainment Earth, these Midnight Bull and Night Virgo etc. Beys are coming out in the next wave. Here's the list:

Case includes 12 individually packaged tops, including:
1x Dark Wolf DF- red
1x Storm Aquario - blue
1x Storm Capricorn - purple
1x Rock Orso
1x Burn Fireblaze 135MS
1x Poison Serpent SW145SD
2x Cyber Pegasus 105F
2x Midnight Bull 125 SF
1x Torch Aries 125D
1x Night Virgo DF145BS
(subject to change)

and the link:
http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HY19495H#desc

So at the absolute very least we have another shop other than Toywiz confirming their existence.

EDIT:
Here's what they have listed for wave 8 revision 1:
Case includes 12 individually packaged tops, including:
1x Flame Sagittario - yellow
1x Rock Aries - purple
1x Flame Libra - green
1x Lightning L-Drago - blue
1x Evil Gemios
1x Rock Scorpio
1x Cyber Pegasus 105F
1x Midnight Bull 125 SF
1x Torch Aries 125D
1x Night Virgo DF145BS
2x Fury Capricorn 100HF
(subject to change)

Woh woh woh! Cyber Pegasis 105 F?!?!?!?! seriosly??? screw that amd forget what i said before. i would rather pay the extra $20 USD for the video game version, cause this just plain out sucks.

and what is the deal with those 1st 3 beys on your list? Hasbro is doing indivivdual recolors now?

wow. we actualy have parts for Midnight Bull and the oters. Pics still would be nice

Hasbro doing repaints should never ever be surprising. It maximizes profits while minimizing effort. They do it with all their toylines.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Byser - Nov. 16, 2010

From the parts list, all of those "new" beys and Cyber Pegasis come with their pre-HWS tracks and bottoms.

I'm intrigued, but we'll just have to see what Hasbro does with this.

speak the truth! =D

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

only reason i was smewhat surprised was because they were not faceoff sets

but i repeat, look the parts for Midnight Bull, they are the same as Pre-HWS Bull!

yes it did

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

this has now become so much more interesting, not to mention intriguing

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - GL - Nov. 16, 2010

Upon further inspection the colors after the old beys are not repaints. Like Lightning L-Drago - Blue is what the old one was called too.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

but Ldrago is white not blue, Aquario is purple not blue, Capricorn is red not purple, Wolf is brown not red. the only ones correct are Sagitario and Libra.

Aries is like a pinkish redish purplish color...ish....0_o

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Nov. 16, 2010

... The parts were already known, everyone, by the way ...

I predict these being actual reshuffle decks. If anything.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Pimpju - Nov. 16, 2010

I have spotted beyblades in Myer, in the city, Sydney.

They also had double packs, with the "newest" being:
Earth Aquila
Double pack: Earth Aquila + Dark Libra (?)

Same prices as everywhere else. (15 for single beys, 26-7 for a double pack)

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

its dark libra ed145 sd. honesly one of the best face offs. ed isnt good but mostly everything else is good.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Nov. 16, 2010

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion [HOBBY] - Extic - Nov. 16, 2010

Cyber is quite like pre-HWS Pegasus. It's getting it's own release [with pre-HWS Pegasus' parts? Is that what was said?]. It's also being released alongside other beys that are unknown and have parts matching their pre-HWS versions.
I'd say it's a good guess to make that the other beys are going to be re-done HWS versions of the pre-HWS blades [as we've probably been thinking but not saying].
Or has it been said by now? I've been thinking this for awhile, but haven't said anything, so I don't know if it's been said since last night.
