I just recently watched a few episodes of The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, it was pretty good. It's actually better than Lucky Star! Although, I think I will just read the Manga instead.

I don't know if it's just me, but I prefer english subs due to the fact that when I read the dialogue, I feel more emotional

I think preference actually differs with each person.
When I watched dragonball for the first time in english, I loved it.
Vegeta's voice actor Christopher Sabat is pretty amazing and the voice works really well.
But when I watched the Japanese language, I preferred the english voice actors because I became used to it.
Where as One Piece, I started in japanese and then watched an english dubbed episode. God it was ghastly.
Same voice actor for Vegeta was done for Zoro, but it just sounded horrible compared to the Japanese voice actor.

That is intentional, and doesn't change in the Japanese. He lost his body when he was around age 10, therefore naturally he sounds like a ten year old.

one piece,bleach and naruto shippuden. havent really tries out any other anime that i havent seen on T.V.
note: i do what the japaneese versions of one piece naruto shippuden and bleach. i found out soon after i was done all the english episdoes out that jap was better for all three (though i do like the dub of one piece and naruto)

I am currently in the process of rewatching Death Note's english dub and so far i am impressed with the dubbing of the series...i purchased the box set today so now i shall be able to watch the series far more easily without having to always be online lol
