Primal Groudon's makes it sunny and blocks Water-Type moves. The weather is permanent until they are switched out.

That covers groundons double weakness to kyroge.
Will gastro acid affect them?

Groudon* Kyogre*
Probably not.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Elite Projects - Sep. 15, 2014

Or skill swap and mummy

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Wombat - Sep. 15, 2014

Actually the moves probably will still affect them and remove/change their ability. It would be largely useless though since the Abilities are most likely like ordinary Drought and Drizzle and activate as soon as they enter the battle. If Tyranitar gets mummified does the Sandstorm stop? No, because the ability only activates once. Switching them out will reset the Ability too.

Well said my furry friend

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Ryuujin K - Oct. 02, 2014

I swear, I'm naming it either Seiryu or Dragoon...

Very nice news before Smash.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - LeonTempest - Oct. 09, 2014

Not gonna lie....Mega Rayquaza is both awesome and EXTREMELY TERRIFYING.

That ability he has goes above and beyond Uber tier....holy nut bars....

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - кαмυι カムイ - Oct. 10, 2014

Just looking at him makes you wanna explode.
Delta Stream and Dragon Descent...They are the essence of awesome.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Ryuujin K - Oct. 14, 2014

More Megas and stuff. For some reason, people are calling Mega Pidgeot "Mega Bird Jesus". Yeah.
Other news:
http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml
The US demo is to be distributed in the October Trainer Club Newsletter on the 21st.
In said demo (that just about everybody else has except US and Canada. UK gets it starting tomorrow.),
Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie have been discovered.
The abilities for them are Sand Force and Refrigerate respectively.
Mega Glalie is pure Ice Type.
Oh, and Trainer customization isn't in this game... Eh, wasn't expecting it.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Neo - Oct. 15, 2014

mega pidgeot confirmed best pokemon ever

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Wombat - Oct. 15, 2014

I'm torn right now, between wanting Omega Ruby for Latios and Alpha Sapphire for Kyogre...

Anywho, this guy I know apparently found some Japanese website where people who have played the demo posted the approximate Base Stats for the Megas:
Swampert: 150-110-95-110-70
Sceptile: 110-75-145-85-145
Steelix: 125-230-55-95-30
Glalie: 120-80-120-80-100

For some reason, he neglected to put HP, so I will assume that for these Megas the HP doesn't change.

Sceptile got a Physical boost, which makes me happy. Also Mega Steelix is possibly tougher than Mega Aggron since its Sp. Def is higher by 15.

Well, it's been confirmed that Eon Tickets are to be distributed, so you can get Latios on AS. (my case, Latias.)

Japan's getting them through serial codes in the next issue of CoroCoro.
I assume something similar for us later. Maybe Gamestop, as always?

Megas don't get HP changes.

I've just almost finished the demo, and the soundtrack and game is amazing! I love the 'creeping up on pokemon' with the circle pad, it's really cute! Would've liked something other than the little pointless missions but still good.

Just because it hasn't happened as of now doesn't mean it isn't possible. I'd imagine most people wouldn't have guessed that some Megas lose points in a stat until X and Y came out/vague stat details were released.

What are the "exclusive items" that you get from the demo?

True .. but then they would have to add a transition or effect to show the change in HP in the HP bar.

Glalie/Steelix (ite), set of heart scales, pokeballs and heal balls. Nothing special at all, other than the mega stone.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - B-Blade - Oct. 17, 2014

I need to buy 3DS as soon as possible XD but it will take some time for ORAS or the New 3DS to arrive to Latvia.Unhappy

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - LeonTempest - Oct. 17, 2014

If I were you, I would hold out for the "New 3DS" release that will hit North America within the next 6 months or so...if you aren't willing to wait, you can pick up the REALLY cool $200 NES style 3DS XL. Such a beautiful piece.

edit: Not sure how releases will work in Latvia though.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Elite Projects - Nov. 08, 2014

Finally ORAS is out!Too bad I have no DS.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - LeonTempest - Nov. 13, 2014

Where did you get that info 0.o

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Elite Projects - Nov. 13, 2014

In Georgia it's out already.$39.99 at target and walmart

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - LeonTempest - Nov. 13, 2014

Those are probably pre-orders, and on-display copies only. Most stores have that sort of thing. The idea behind it is to get people interested in the product prior to its release, so that you come back to the store to get it.

Trust me, the games aren't out. To be honest, its possible that the physical, finished copies of the game are in a warehouse somewhere by this week, but they aren't allowed to be in stores until the actual day of release.

Of course you are going to hear about a handful of people getting the game early, usually by pulling strings with people they know, or a store putting a real copy up for sale by accident a day prior to release, or they are attention seeking and like to lie and are just sad....

Minus those few exceptions, the majority of people will receive the game after midnight on November 21st.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Elite Projects - Nov. 14, 2014

Well it doesn't say pre-order on it,so I'll check if it's in my Wal-Mart
