RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Crimson - Apr. 29, 2010

I can see the sound effects appealing to little kids, it makes the battles sound much more active. All about making their target audience interested.

And maybe they were looking at the Ep. 51 Gargoyle-Ryuuga when they decided on his dub voice Tongue_out
It's not the worst of the voices, but I still really dislike the voice for "Doji" just because it sounds so old for the character, it sounds more fitting for a character like Ryuusei. (Raiyusei? Tongue_out)

I'm actually liking the Beyblade bounce game. very addictive. it's alot better than the one YTV first put up.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - BlackAce - Apr. 29, 2010

Ginga/Gingka/Jingka/Jenga/whatever you want to call him...his voice sounds ok. But Ryuuga's voice is WRONG. And that let it rip commercial...that was both corny and awesome at the same time. If the Beyblade show was actually like that, I bet a lot more people would watch it.

Now all the show needs is the Face Hunters doing drive-bys with Light Wheel Beys the show and I'll be happy.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Bey Brad - Apr. 29, 2010

These are some of the worst-designed games I've ever played. Wow.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - DranzerX13 - Apr. 29, 2010

that's the only game on there I like. the others are corny.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Aqua - Apr. 29, 2010

Awesome, the site is finally up. The set-up and everything looks good so far. It was cool how they included short summaries for each season of the previous series along with the new series.

The "Let It Rip" commercial was actually pretty sick (although a bit cheesy at the same time). It was definitely good advertising though. It actually surprised me as to how “old” the kids that they used in the commercial were (they had to be between 15 and 17). Usually, they use kids between the ages of 13 and 15 to appeal to the younger kids. While they are obviously trying to appeal to younger kids in that commercial, it seems that they are also trying to appeal to an older age group of kids, and trying to get more of them into it and make it not seem like it's only a game for younger kids.

It was weird watching the "Let it Rip" commercial and then the BMF intro right after… totally different vibe.

“Gingka’s” voice is horrible. It is by far the worst. Not only is it really annoying and doesn't suit the character at all, but the voice actor just sucks. I can easily get used to the others, but Gingka's voice...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - To - Apr. 29, 2010

Note: I didn't get to catch whatever was on YTV.com's video player, so basing this on the clips were uploaded.

I don't watch the show in Japanese, so I have no clue as to how they sound in that thing. But damn Gin-whatever is horrible. Benkei sounds hilarious, and kind of what I expected to come out of a character that looks like that. That guy with L-Drago does sound a bit off. The other dudes seem good.

Gingka/Jenga/Jinga/McGuffin kind of sounds like Matt Hill. But I hear no one else that sound like a Vancouver voice actor. Meh, safe money would say Toronto dub. Which would hopefully mean McGuffin gets better as the series progresses (watch the original Beyblade dub, or the Medabots dub, the initial episodes have terrible vocal performances but the casts settle down further into it).

When I woke up this morning I decided to have a look at the new mini site and heard Jingka, and I thought I was dreaming but I wasn't, and that is not normal and so I posted something telling you guys to hear it and see if I am crazy, and when I got back it seems it isn't just me who thinks it sounds like Lync from Bakugan lol....

Oh and if you looked through the mini site correctly it says they will be posting all the previous seasons and they will also be posting the new ones Smile

Seriously I thought it was a fan dub or something at first. However, I really can't hear the "K" in "Gingka" when they shout his name. If this is how it's pronounced then I have no problem with it, I could care less about spelling.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Dude - Apr. 30, 2010

I still can't believe how bad Gingka's voice is XD I'm trying to think of a single voice that disappointed me that much, in terms of Japanese-English dubbing, and I really don't see it. I loved Ginga's voice in Japanese, it was funny, pleasant and warm. Oh yeah, and it wasn't annoying like hell, which is a plus, in anime, these days.

Still didn't get to hear Kenta, Benkei or Doji(lol, what a name) I stopped listening to the preview before that XD

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Flame - Apr. 30, 2010

And I thought the Dubs Were gonna be better...The only good dub is Kenta and Kyoyas...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - beybattler - Apr. 30, 2010

well we will just have to deal with the voices. in my opinion the only annoying voices are benkei and ryuga lol. but still lets just deal with it

"Credits to DranzerX13", but not the one who recorded the actual audio ...

It irks me that they removed the episode preview. I think I had found a way to download it ...

yes they shoul dhave left it on there but I think that for an episode preview they should show a clip from a beybattle or something like when Kenta first uses Flame Claw or when Kyoya faces Hyouma (or whatever his name will be)
