I'm sure Nelvana is going to hire two voice actors who live in LA, while the rest of the cast resides in Toronto. Gasp

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2 - Benkei - May. 17, 2010

Just watched the new series and even with Nevelna messing up the rest, Benkei is still an awesome dub and the coolest character.
Cool

Edit: Oh and I agree with To, the way they say it really sounds like Jenga.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Toonpenguin - May. 17, 2010

I know DranzerX13 posted this already but heres the youtube video of it incase you don't want to download the file
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOk5cOdDo1Q

Also I have to say Benkei's voice is so bad it makes it good (In My opinion)

Kenta's and The girls voice ( Forget her name) aren't that bad

The sad thing though is around 2:40 the person kenta is battling against actually has a good voice , which is terrible since he's not a important character

I can see all the kids call Ginga , Jenga, I mean they really need to fix their pronunciation of his name

Well I think that it will without a doubt get a renewed second season in English just because most shows do but I have my doubts if the English verison can hold on enough to be renewed for a third season

They didn't mess up much at all though. Nelvana actually did a decent job with the dub, overall. Benkei, is definitely not the only good part of the dub (although the voice sort of suits the character, it's a bit annoying imo).

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - SonicDaMan - May. 17, 2010

There's gonna be an interview with the voice actor of Benkei on YTV this week http://beyblade.ytv.com/news/34/beyblade-metal-fusion-has-launched.aspx

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - To - May. 17, 2010

Hahaha, I was just about to post that. They'll also be having a live chat with their "Anime Master" (on May 26) who seems to not have much work now a days...

I don't watch The Zone because well, it's all Sponge Bob and the Fairly Odd Parents, but I wouldn't mind it if someone was able to record the interview with Benkei's voice actor.

EDIT- According to the Zone schedule posted here, the interview with Jason Deline (Benkei) will be on Wednesday.

Double EDIT- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, they're writing in character blog posts too. This is the hardest I've ever seen this channel push an anime series before.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Jsc - May. 18, 2010

Kenta's friend with the brown spikey hair and red shirt is sooooo annoying. I don' think it was that raspy and slurred in the japanese version.

I think daidoji's voice should have been smooth and good, not raspy

All the others were good though especially kenta's

When eps 1-4 air individually, I'll add those MU links to the SD & HD TV RAW/SUB/DUB thread.

those individual eps will have the prologue intro + episode previews.

Yeah, being a bit hyperbolic because of my username, no I do like it over all. Benkei's dub is certainly not the best part of the dub. I love Kyouya's dub.

Benkei in English is awesome. You guys don't know what you're talking about, lmao.

Hahaha; this just aired on The Zone. If nobody recorded directly from their TV, I'll upload the off-screen video I shot with my camera. He might be back in the next break though, and I'll record that as well.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Akatsuki - May. 19, 2010

I have actually been very impressed at how Nelvana has dubbed Beyblade Metal Fusion. All of the characters do seem to sound perfect to me so far. I like how Kenta was dubbed he sounded perfect to match his personality and also Madoka sounded ace. Kyouya had to be my fav dub voice he just sounded epic XD and also Benkei sounded great with his voice.

Also i am wondering am i possibly one of the only people who actually likes Ginga's english dub voice? i think after watching the episodes his voice kinda grew on me and i kinda like it. I am looking forward to hearing other characters voices such as Sora and Tsubasa.

The only dub voice i dont like though is Kenta's friend Osamu he just really made my ears bleed XD

I am interested in how Tetsuya will sound in the next episode i hope they have kept his saying KANI KANI KANI

I wouldn't mind if you uploaded it. I was well asleep when the Zone aired today.
