I made a major mistake. Because Hyakki Vogue RG summoned by Hyakki Vogue's returns to the hand, you can just call it from the hand, and it won't return to the hand. Stupid me. Though, if you can get the third Hyakki Vogue from your deck, you can just call them and you don't need to keep using Oboro Carts.

Shadow Paladin is said to contain a Cross Break Ride for Illusionary Shadow Revenger, Mordred. I don't...know why Pale Moon is getting more support, though.

Its just a cloning gimmick for Murakumo. It seems similar to Daiyusha Reverse just at a heavier cost power up wise.

Im excited about BT14. Eradicator, Tempest Bolt Dragon already seems promising along with Eradicator, Ignition Dragon. Both cards seems very viable in current Eradicator builds.

Jesus Christ, this guy just friggin nukes the entire field. I'm sure this is more so a final-turn move, though. Nuke the entire field, replenish your field, get at least +10k (2 stages), and bam.

before i get into the whole unlock thing, whats the point of brightness dragon? its cost is the same as ezel but not as powerful for its main ability, is it because it can unlock for a lesser cost? its not even liberator so i don't see the point of having that card over ezel, and certainly not with it as a break ride can take it's spot.

now for unlock, was hoping for a few bigger costs as link joker has a hard time lock anyway, but it looks like it wont be used with many other counterblast heavy cards, leaving the decks vulnerable to non locking decks. i think they are trying to go with a rock paper scissors thing here, with lock as paper, reverse as rock and unlock as scissors. not sure if it will work but it will be interesting.

On the bright side, for a deck like Hyakki Vogue which isn't very versatile, you can keep Metamorfox in the deck because anything higher than 5k can bring Hyakki Vogue to stage 4 by late game. That also gives Murakumo some edge against a Link Joker deck.

You can also use Metamorfox to (I don't know if this is a good idea) to unlock one of your units to have two Stage 4 boosts.

Edit: Scratch that, that's a bad idea.

Edit 2: I'm wrong again. + extra stage is always good.

Im treating Ezel Scissors as a CB1 SB1 for 10K +1 Crit as long as you have a full field. In my opinion, that is an absurdly cheap cost compared to most of them with similar skills.

Not to mention, Ezel now has a personalised damage adder which is 7K base and adds soul and there is a G1 SB2 unflip 2 damage for GP. All these seems rather well with Platina which probably would work as a Final turn mechanic.

You can't do that, I think. You have to pay the cost before unflipping at the end of turn because of other effects that have CO costs. That is like trigger checking and stacking triggers at the end of the trigger step instead of one by one.

I mean as by turn basis. The cost obviously has to be paid in full before any skills can activate. I'm fully aware of that which is why I placed my words as "I am treating" to indicate how "cheap" the overall cost it is actually for that 10K +1 Crit.

The new GP cards seems to be indirect support for PEzel especially the SB2 damage unflippers and new damage adders...

The next set after that would probably be either EB07 (OTT S3 EB) or BT13, depending. You know how Bushiroad sometimes changes releases (like EB06, EB04/05 and BT11/10).

So I assume that like the past game, you choose your avatar, but that also chooses which high school you go to. Maybe that alters the gameplay and story a little? And if it's like the last game, it goes up to Set 15.

BTW, when I say up to Set 15, that includes TDs and EBs that were released in Japan before that set, Set 15 being the final release of Season 3.

I've been playing a proxy Kagurabloom/Hyakki deck and it works pretty well. You just have to make sure you get some grade 1s out on the field before you ride Hyakki so you can lock.

But I will say that notice how some of the cards look the same as the cards on the other side. They seem to be going for a Weiss Schwartz deal. And not like the game, more like the Black White theme.

Its one of the game mechanics. Correct me if im wrong but it should be when a lower power card attacks something of a higher value, it goes along with it.

Wouldn't that be the case in Vanguard, when a lower-power card like Blightops attacks a higher-power unit, but instead doesn't die from it? I don't think Rearguards can die if they attack units with higher power.

Im referring to WS. The game mechanics is, when a lower attacking power character targets a higher powered one, it ll still hit the character but dies along with it.
