Yeah there are only 3 cards I want from GS04, and hardly any trade bait in there, Ryko, Reaper and Oppression, Hopefully the commons are epic, common Brio / Catastor / Mist Wurm / Kristya anyone? It'll never happen but hey, a guy can dream can't he?

I've been dreaming since the announcement of Gold Series 4. And I'm totally with you on every count. I'm also hoping (in vain) that Infernity Barrier is a common. if any of those are actually common, I'll be so excited.

I'm thinking about buying a duel disk. They go for like $25-60 on eBay. Any suggestions about which one to get? Lol.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Gamer420 - Jun. 15, 2011

Duel Disks are carp, it's a waste of money, unless you're a Cosplayer. But if you do, get the Orisis red GX duel disk or the Yusei 2010 DX duel disk or whatever it's called.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Odin - Jun. 15, 2011

Anyone up for a few rounds on Dueling Network?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - |Joe| - Jun. 16, 2011

I'm currently testing the Gem-Knights out on DN and I really do like them. Plus they bring back fond memories of me using my Crystal Beasts and my friend using his E-Heroes heh. If I like how they do enough then I will definitely build on them when Generation Force is release.

Tytanial, Monk, Avarice, Reaper, Stun, and Sorcerer all say hi. Ryko too.

Not worth buying Gold Series though. Honestly, if you wanted any of those, you'd probably just trade for them or buy them as singles.

I don't want any of those. I already have them all and I'm not some silly rarirty carp that has to have everything in shiny foil colors.

I buy cards based on their usefulness to me as a player, not how they look.

QFT. I only buy cards I need, too. But, GS04 might provide some trade bait? I dunno. But, then again, if tons of people buy it, hoping for good trade bait, then will the "bait" really be worth anything?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Killer Beafowl - Jun. 16, 2011

Errr Konami. GSO4 sucks. I mean yea, they have all the cards that will *help but we don't make our money back from buying it. Theyve all been reprinted as commons for like 25 cents each. The only way you may make your money back is Doomcaliber. Someone said that if BLS Envoy of the beginning is unbanned then you could make your money back but the chances of that...the only other thing is Ryko Smile

I get what both of you were saying. Just, you know, pointing out that there are "useful" cards, and a handful of them are a bit difficult to get. I know that I worked for 7 months on getting Tytanial at my local shop.

And I'm no rarity carp (can't use my prefered term) either, but if I have access, I won't say no.
Besides....I need more Avarices...a couple Rykos (isn't he in the latest Turbo? :V)...maybe a sorcerer, at least for baiting.

Except that none of those cards are actually difficult to get. Which is... y'know... the whole point of Gold Series, which was to reprint rare hard to get cards so more people could use them a la Crush Card (LOL) and Gold Sarc.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Temporal - Jun. 16, 2011

This simply goes back to preference. Do you like to buy and trade usefulness or rarity. I've seen people trade amazing cards for some nice-looking rares. In fact, I got a bunch of common TGs for two Holo Golden Homunculus' and a Helios. Hooray for commons!

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Temporal - Jun. 17, 2011

Man. I need a Formula Synchron, or at least a T.G. Wonder Magician. How hard is it to find Wonder Magician, anyway?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Odin - Jun. 17, 2011

Formula Synchron is a Rare in Starstrike Blast, so that would probably be easier to get than an Ultra Rare from Extreme Victory. So, I'd say Wonder Magician is more difficult to find.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Temporal - Jun. 17, 2011

Ah, the odds are about 1:12 for any UR, right? There's 8, and 3 of them I need... Oh, man. The next few weeks I'm gonna be BROKE! Not good, man. Anyway, I should be able to pick up another TGX300 anyway, plus a few of the other Synchros. Time to hit Wal-Mart.

eBay says hi.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Pyro - Jun. 18, 2011

So I went to this store looking for two cards, and they had em.
It was weird cause Infernity Mirage was going for $2, while Future Visions was $10.
I only bought Mirage.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - |Joe| - Jun. 18, 2011

I'm almost positive that I speak for everyone when I say that Hyperion and Kristya are the most annoying fairies ever. They're more annoying than Navi Pinching_eyes

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Gamer420 - Jun. 18, 2011

Lol, I haven't dueled aginst fairies yet, I probably will today.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Priscient - Jun. 18, 2011

I don't know, even though I don't like the deck's playstyle, I might just make it because I'm bored.
Kristya not coming in the structure deck sucks though. =/

Out of curiosity, how have you been playing it/seen it being played?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Odin - Jun. 18, 2011

Went to my local card store for a time, and it seems that they finished a tournament moments before I came in. No offense meant to them, but they stank. There was one kid my age, but the rest were, like, 30! Also, everyone there seemed to have bought a Lost Sancuary deck. Also, there was a Dollar bin. Some of the cards in terrible condition. But there were some in good condition, including three Infernity Inferno. Sadly, I had no money on me, so I couldn't get the two I need.

Wow. That went here, there, and everywhere.

Pyro, why did you get a Mirage? Thinking of building Infernity?
