OCG and TCG are having different banlists. Quite frankly I like the OCG better

This page shows the newly limited/banned cards (For TCG)

And this is the complete list

To bad no Trishula.

WHAT!!! Monster Reborn was my trump card. Unhappy

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kai Hiwatari - Aug. 22, 2013

Hmmmm, they sure took away a lot of staples.

Fortunately, Blackwing now has three Black Whirlwind and Zombies now have 2 Mezuki and 2 Plaguespreaders.
That is awesome!

Removal/Macro Cosmos Decks are pretty much gone now sadly.

I had great success with a Diamond Dude Turbo Deck this past format and another Malicious is appreciated, but no Stratos is annoying.

LOL at Dragon Rulers.

And it seems they hit some of the Atlantean/Deep Sea Dive Swarm Decks a little as well.

Overall, this list should open up a lot more possibilities.

Um.. I am not sure if any of you guys watch it but have you heard of yu gi oh zexal, I only watched one episode today, and I prefer the original yu-gi-oh anime.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kai Hiwatari - Aug. 22, 2013

Yeah, that has been out for a while now.

I loved the original as well as GX, but I was not a fan of 5Ds and Zexal.

Same here, and I found gx the best out of all and the first one a very very close second. Cardfight vanguard, 1st series was much like the original yu-gi-oh series.

I agree, but I think that the first series and the GX are on the same level Smile I also think that the original series, season zero, or how you want to call, it's also very funny, movie included Smile

I love the new Dragon Ruler tins. I got Tidal recently (Since that one has way better promos) and I ended up pulling good stuff out of the packs
Evilswarm ?-Super
Harpie Channeler-Ultra Rare
Spellbook Library of the heliosphere-Secret rare
Those plus the promos made my day.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - BBN - Dec. 09, 2013

I used to play YGO and i used a rearkicking constellar deck... I was thinking that it would be awesome if someone could combine beyblade and YGO! Then i could have bost duel disk and launcher grip in hand!

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - DefStamina88 - Dec. 12, 2013

I got back into playing it just now after about a 10-month hiatus (After winning in a miraculous comeback, I just kinda took a break from it). I kinda suck now, but I'd love to play on duelingnetwork.com with anybody that wants to play! Grin

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - rage sagittario - Jan. 30, 2014

Do people still use number cards

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Ryukiba - Jan. 30, 2014

So as getting my friends at school into Beyblade they said they'd teach me Yugioh and it's kinda confusingXD I'd like to know what some of the strongest cards areSmile

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Jan. 30, 2014

Yes, number cards are used. 39's used in a Utopia deck. ect.

ryukiba: Constellar, BrotherHood, Bujiin, Mermail, Noble Knights, ect. Just a quick sketch up.

Thanks!Smile I'll try and get those!

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Ocean - Jan. 31, 2014

I normally go with low level monsters and high power dragons. I might get #44: sky Pegasus.
Ryukiba:I like the wicked eraser.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Jan. 31, 2014

Dragons aren't good since the best ones got limited.

TWEis OK, but it can be countered easly. I'd start with brootherhoods. They aren't that much.

Draining shield rocks to counter god cards in my opinion.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Jan. 31, 2014

God cars aren't that good. There new reprint kinda sucks. Solemn Waring is the best so for countering.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Ocean - Jan. 31, 2014

You mean solemn warning right?
EDIT:What's the best chaos number without too many Xyz materials?

Ok I'll try and get thoseSmile I'm also trying to look for high level dragons!Smile

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Feb. 01, 2014

If you are, I suggest you start with the Dragons Collide Deck. It has some really cool ones. Look it up, haha.

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Ocean - Feb. 01, 2014

Five headed dragon is good right?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Feb. 01, 2014

Nope. Ever since Future Fusion got banned, there's been no reason to use it. Though it's still used sometimes.

What is a good monster that can counter synchro summons then?

RE: General Yu-Gi-Oh! Thread - Kaneki - Feb. 01, 2014

Um... Pretty much things that negate SS. Solemn Warning, Bottemless Trap Hole. Stuff like that.
