RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Zoroaste - Jul. 21, 2016 GOTTEM!!! RB5 COMPLETE!! Can't believe I found it. Thought I never would and always have an almost complete collection. Thanks to @[NEET no Kami] for giving me the link! http://zenmarket.jp/auction.aspx?itemCode=j400678808 [Image: 2ey9k4n.jpg] RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Hato - Jul. 21, 2016 You got both of the blue SDMS CWD's?! Congratulations, Zoro! RB5 is pretty expensive and hard to get, and completely the collection is a whole lot of money, and waiting for the Beys to go up for sale... Amazing find, Neet, and congratulations once again Zoro! RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - agumonx7 - Jul. 22, 2016 Just bought a brand new Dragoon MS because my bit protector just broke. Totally worth it. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Real_ilinnuc - Jul. 22, 2016 Recently bought Obelisk Odin .T.X It's probably my favorite looking Burst Bey. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Howaitonekon - Jul. 24, 2016 Zoroaste: I'm always impressed when I see you posts here in this thread, congratulations, and that was a great find, NEET no Kami! I was also lucky yesterday and won a lot with essential beys for my collection:
RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - TrainiacJ - Jul. 24, 2016 [Image: yR8EqtN.jpg] My first lot of Burst. So exciting! :P RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Bey Brad - Jul. 24, 2016 Some great stuff to start with. Hope you like it! Jealous. Lol RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Ultra - Jul. 24, 2016 Wow I never noticed but yeah the prices of that seems to have exploded. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Howaitonekon - Jul. 24, 2016 TrainiacJ: These definitely come with some useful parts. And the red Valkyrie looks great! Zoroaste: Thanks, I really like that Hasbro decided to use such great colors on their Hyperblades. And another lucky find today, got all this for $15:
RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Sapphire - Jul. 25, 2016 I've given in... I had to do it! I don't usually post here much, but today an exciting thing happened. I decided that there really was no other way to actually buy an original Takara Storm Pegasis without risking it taking a month to come and/or getting lost, so I gave in and bought the only local one available from Gossip Toys on Amazon. I don't even want to say what the price was... No, I'm not a fanboy of Gingka or anything; he's not that great of a character. I hardly watch the show anymore anyway, and if I were to, I would rather watch the original series. I just think the bey itself is fantastic... since the beginning of MFB, the Pegasis metal system wheel has proven itself to be one of the greatest attack wheels of its time along with Sagittario and of course Quetzalcoatl, as well as to me one of the most aesthetically pleasing (Aaannd now you know why I have my avatar, lol). However, it was not until Storm was released that Pegasis truly became deadly; that of course being due to RF, which as we know revolutionized the attack meta and is arguably the best all-around attack bottom, but that bit is obvious. In fact, at one time, MF Pegasis 145RF was a cliche... at least without Libra in the mix. ... *Ahem* Okay, alright, I'm not here to give a history lesson about the Pegasis metal wheel, I'm here to give a history lesson about it's successor! Now before I go into detail, I'd first like to add some backstory to all of this. Yes, Storm Pegasis was my first true bey; and yes, it was intentional. Lucky for me, I had been wise enough to look up who the main character's bey was, because I knew that it would become very hard to get eventually... ESPECIALLY in this day and age, if you want a true Takara model. Which is why I'm in this situation now... lesson of course being: buy your Pegasis while you can, kids! *Ahem* But the real point here, is that the one I first bought was a regular Hasbro model, complete with incorrect thunder bolt stickers. However, this one being my first... as you might think, it is still very special to me. I still remember many years ago, bringing it to a place where a large lot of younger kids were blading, challenging them of course, and watching as each of them got rekt by Pegasis! ... Eh. It was a fun time... Not to mention afterwards I became known as "The REAL Gingka" at that place. ...Okay, maybe that was a bit strange... STILL. I also remember using it a ToysRUs tournament and actually defeating someone who was using a Hell Kerbecs. That was rather surprising, because at that point in time, Storm Pegasis was becoming rather outdated. I guess you literally CAN'T beat the classics! ... At least not in Limited Format maybe (sometimes!)! XD But what I am really trying to point out here, is that at the time of its release, and perhaps even now, Storm Pegasis has always been a fantastic bey to play around with. While the metal system Pegasis had power and competitive pedigree, Storm had better controllability and less recoil, making it very good to practice with, especially since it still was able to beat most of everything from the Metal Fusion era. Yes, it may be true that is indeed terribly light and powerless against [insert any defense type with MF/MF-H and RS/RSF/RB], it will surprise you, as it has throughout my time, and is without a doubt one of the best beys to just have a fun time with... which is why now, with my original Storm Pegasis in retirement (its RF is nearly worn down to the plastic), I've long needed a replacement. A genuine TT model. Which is why I ordered this, as you can see. Though the light blue beylauncher is also very nice... and useful. *Cough* Sorry, I suppose now it is time for me to stop rambling, I just thought it would be for the better if I explained myself and the reasons for buying such a bey a bit more. Hopefully, it does not go to waste... oh well. If I can, I will try to make an unboxing video, though I haven't done one before. If I do, I'll be sure to send the link; something like this is very rare and hard to find now, and I know that many indeed would like to see it. So to anyone who may reading this, please have a nice day, and enjoy your time here! Sorry again for the long post. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Kai-V - Jul. 25, 2016 Hahah it is great to see how much thought someone can have about a Beyblade that is considered 'a given' or 'common' by most. Yet, we each have a Beyblade like that, or of course other big passions in life. Cool to see you buying that Beyblade out of desire, rather than necessity or novelty like most of us. Thank you for your kind words. Many times there comes a point where we look to obtain things out of reasons which you stated, and other times out of covetousness... I suppose this is what makes me foolish. Although I do in fact require extra RF's and Beylaunchers as much as the next blader, if I simply was looking at those prerequisites, there would far more valuable options to choose from. But because of this desire, this impulsiveness, I went all the way. But it is probably for the best; the bey will be put to use. It will be a functional artifact. And if anything is a plus, the hype to see if the string will be black will be exciting as well. But above all else, it is special to me. Not everyone will understand, but at least I do in the first place. There is a beyblade for everyone. Once again, thank you for your comment, it made my day. The only think I'm not sure if i should keep the Xeno Xcalibur for exhibition, it's too beautiful! RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - YggdrasilWyvern - Jul. 29, 2016 First purchase on HLJ, thought I'd look into it since I've seen Kai-V talk about, me being one of the idiots still on eBay, lol. Wish I would've done this with all my purchases. Anyway, besides the point. I ordered Spriggan Spread Fusion finally (B-30) with Ragnaruk (Central?) Accel. Pre-ordered that triple beyblade set with Nova Neptune, along with Unlock Unicorn. I'll finally have a Chaos, as I still have yet to get a Random Layer Collection (why are they so expensive?!). Although I may have to miss out on BG-02, which is hard for me to say but likely true, there is NO way I'll miss BG-03. Also got some backordered RBV3's, 10 to be exact. I was going to get 12, but I wanted to keep it all under $125 (excluding the shipping for back, and pre-orders that I'll pay in a couple weeks). Will be getting RBV1 in a couple weeks, waiting for Xeno Xcalibur to go down... Just the original Kerbeus, and Ragnaruk, and the, I don't know "remixed" Valkyrie (Spread Survive), and Spriggan Heavy Defense to go, then I'll be all caught up (besides the much wanted RLC's). I don't know why I want the "remixes" so bad when I can make the combos, maybe because I bought Kerbeus Wing Fusion as my first burst bey thinking it was the main Kerbeus, now I feel like I need to get the rest. If I wouldn't have done that, I probably wouldn't care... Oh, meanwhile on eBay, about a week back I ordered B-21 (despite it going up by $10, should've bought one earlier with B-22), Xcalibur Force Xtreme, and Phantom Orion (again, lol). I'll probably make it to rose platinum if I keep up with Burst 'til it ends. Unlike when I sold my entire MFB collection with no regrets just to buy a PS3 and four games, (some for other systems, and new). I may regret it a little, but I've only re-bought 2 beys so far, and I'm gonna be about 50-60 beys in now. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - bananadolphin - Jul. 29, 2016 Just got a used wolborg ms for 30$ RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Ultra - Jul. 29, 2016 (Jul. 29, 2016 4:21 AM)YggdrasilWyvern Wrote: First purchase on HLJ, thought I'd look into it since I've seen Kai-V talk about, me being one of the idiots still on eBay, lol. Anyway nice purchases. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Bey Brad - Jul. 29, 2016 eBay prices have certainly gotten a lot better, especially if you don't mind waiting a few weeks for stuff to arrive. Especially good deals on Random Booster stuff. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Kei - Aug. 04, 2016 I bought a couple things recently: [Image: pIIS3yG.jpg] More Photos (Click to View) - B-15 05 Valkyrie Central Fusion - B-24 08 Valkyrie Oval Needle x2 - B-29 Starter Valkyrie Wing Accel Entry Package x10 - B-41 Starter Wild Wyvern .V.O x2 - B-49 Random Booster Vol. 3 Yeager Yggdrasil .G.Y x24 - B-50 Burst BeyStadium Wide Type - B-00 Baldur .β.β - BG-03 Gachapon Random Layer Collection Vol. 3 Complete Set x6 - BBG-25 Beyblade Ultimate Synchrom DX Set Stamina & Defense Type - BB-119 Starter Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF Obviously, some of this will be for sale at Toronto events. Investing for the future with the BBG-25 and BB-119; I even have one more of each on the way. Don't want to think about how rare Wyvang is going to become haha. And I was happy to find that I got an actual case of the Random Booster this time! They even threw in a 3000 BP card. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Real_ilinnuc - Aug. 04, 2016 Where did you get the Gachas? Got this stuff to tide me over though. Along with 3x each of RLV3 and Black Xcaliber the day before. HMS grip rubber, NIB DGV2, Spark Disks, Burst deck box, Plastics Gen Stadium Backpack, black plastics gen winder rubber and HMS white winder (tourney prize) are for sale. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/y1a1ke29zoa2tdn/AAD6ZiiUg3GO5XvlAjPjrpIva?dl=0 [Image: ivz4mq.jpg] [Image: 1z5osnn.jpg] RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Kei - Aug. 04, 2016 (Aug. 04, 2016 6:12 AM)Zoroaste Wrote: Nice dude. Haha, that's unfortunately not really an option when you live in Toronto and have several tournaments each month. RE: Recent Beyblade Purchases - Zoroaste - Aug. 04, 2016 Yeah I wouldn't have even done it if I had known how long it would take. Lol. Ridiculous. But you get what you pay for I guess.
